Chinese bearings are a no-go with Subaru timing belt kits. This Gates kit has pulleys and bearings made in Japan. Everything was a perfect fit, and I made sure to properly bleed the tensioner pulley per the instructions.

Purchased from RockAuto, just wanted to warn others with a review.Water pump/gasket leaked 2 months after install, (properly torqued).The timing belt tensioner caused the timing belt to run against the belt guides because it wasn’t performing its function. These tensioners are a 50/50 chance of getting a decent or bad one. And unfortunately I had a bad one. After 2k miles it was compressible with my thumb, thankfully I removed it before it caused any damage to my engine. Wouldn’t recommend Gates, as the quality is hit or miss.The bearings for the most part have reputable brand names on them and that seems to be the only thing in this that is worth any money.
