Gates T43198, timing belt tensioner fits 2001 Honda Accord EX V6. Hint: To retract the tensioner after the removal of the plate retainer. Loosen and remove the nut. Insert a screwdriver and turn it to retract the piston until the plate retainer can be reinserted.

I perform engine work and this timing idler (which is really a timing belt tensioner) works perfectly, if you screw off the end you can insert a small screw driver to wind back the tensioner and place back into its compressed position for reuse if the tensioner hasn't been used for too long or if you make a mistake while installing
