Seems like a durable protective case, but both upper and lower foam inserts came detached from the outer plastic shell, which was only attached with hot glue gun. Trying to crazy glue it back on, see how long it lasts. For this price and self claimed quality, the lwast rhey could do would be use a more more permanent adhesive.Otherwise, the LED is cool, except the "turn the light off when case is closed" button (like a fridge door)doesn't turn off the light, so batteries died. There is a "hard to locate in the dark" switch you can turn on and off, but kinda defeats the purpose of the button?!

This guitar case looks amazing the inside and outside but when you lay a top of the line guitar inside of the case the guitar should not be lopsided inside of it as it is with this case the light does not go out like it's supposed to it looks neat is all get out when it's lit up but it is supposed to go out when you close the case in this particular case it does not

I'm soo disappointed. I'm actually devastated. What a cheap piece of garbage! $100 Yorkville cases are soo much better. The foam trench that the neck rests in is too deep, it leaves a gap between the neck and the case.. The top foam doesn't even insert into the top of the hard case! It falls out when you open it! The latches DON'T LATCH!! Like wtf?! I'm not even sending this back. I'm throwing it in my dumpster and watching the dump truck compacted this piece of TRASH. WASTE OF TIME

It arrived damaged. I know stuff happens in shipping that isn't the manufacturers fault but even looking at the rest of the product it seems flimsy and not something I'm going to trust to protect my bass.

This is a really nice, sturdy case. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the light is supposed to work like a refrigerator light…close the lid it goes out, open the lid it comes on. However, you have to use the on/off switch because the button doesn’t actually turn the light off and the batteries die.

SummaryOK -ish. But it probably won’t last me very long. Expensive but I got it at a discounted rate and needed a case quickly.Buy a Hiscox case instead. Not much more in cost and far more rugged with much stronger catches - will be my next case and will probably sell the Gator if it survives! (I have a Hiscox for each of my saxophones). Though Hiscox are so good and so popular that they are often out of stock - not available on Amazon to my knowledge.GATOR Good Points:Very lightRobust, solid outer casingWell padded and stiff interiorTrays for gear - tuner, strings etcSize is perfect for my Yamah BB bass - just needs a little extra padding at the head end probably about 6 or 7 mm.GATOR Bad PointsUseless and flimsy catches - I had to send the first one back as one catch was completely destroyed and part of it was not even in the boxReplacement not boxed - just wrapped in bubble wrap - but Amazon did a great job (as usual) with a fast replacementWith use, I think that the interior might start to part company with the outerLED ….. mmm, jury’s out. In theory, for the price of the case you would assume this was a great deal. When it arrived, I quickly found that the whole top inner lining of the case was detached from the shell exterior. I peeked behind (since this was apparently an easy thing to do in this case) and found that it was hastily glued to the shell with some cheap hot glue or epoxy, and it had no hold on the case. Furthermore, the lining fabric is poorly and unevenly cut, and I’m convinced it was not secured to the case at any point. The problem therein was not with Amazon shipping, but in the work of the manufacturer for the missing level of effort and craftsmanship perceived with the case I received. Furthermore, it comes with a quality inspection certification dated over two years prior, so I’m hoping it looked immensely better back then. Incredibly disappointed that something like this would be sent out in the condition that it’s in.

I bought this for my Ibanez SR300 bass and I love it. Fit's like a glove. I wish it had more compartments near the top end of the guitar, but I find stuff doesn't shift around too much when transporting it. The light is nice and fairly bright, but I haven't needed to use it much yet. Quality seems great. Would highly recommend this to others.

This is a very thin case that makes me nervous. Light is very cheap, and batteries die very quickly in it. You could mount a much better one in the regular case. For this price, go with a nicer case
