Works very well, easy to use. Feels durable. Was able to bind the curriculum I bought very quickly. Everything lined up perfect! Would definitely recommend. I used this with the GBC ProClick Spines.

This is the hole puncher part of the binding system. This tool doesn't bind anything, but it cuts the holes so you can then insert the binding spines that you buy separately. This works really well as long as you don't load too many pages at once. I do wish the slot was bigger so you could fit longer pages, like construction paper or legal sized paper or bigger. But mostly I got it for use with 8.5*11 papers, and it is great for that!

Pros:- It's very well-made, heavy, and feels like it will last forever.- It punches very consistently on the page. Sometimes with a regular 3-hole punch, the holes on multiple pages don't line up exactly right if the paper is not in exactly the same spot every time. I punched a large stack of papers and every single sheet lined up perfectly.- It's long, but not huge, and is very easy to store. It doesn't need a lot of real estate on a shelf and the low profile means it in can slip into tight places. This is also a plus when assembling books and papers and supplies are scattered all over your work surface.- It punched through 8 mil plastic report covers fairly well. Not sure it could handle anything heavier, though.- Because the binders can be reopened, it makes it super easy to add pages when needed. This is a HUGE plus.- Overall, the spines take up less room than a 3-ring binder, are sturdier than wire spiral binding, and allow you to fold the cover 360 degrees around.Cons- It is LOUD. Makes a ton of noise as you slide the lever back and forth.- It can be a little cantankerous at the max number of pages. You do have to hold papers down on the edge of the punch to keep them from sliding out.- Max capacity is 6 pages, but if you use anything other than cheap copy paper, you're probably going to max out at 4 pages or so. Cardstock is a single sheet. This makes punching a large document a little slow.- It's awfully expensive.Overall, I think it is well worth the investment, even if I did wince when pressing "pay." I don't anticipate needing to replace it anytime soon, and I am very pleased with the results.

This paper punch is like getting the note book style you buy for the store , only thing is that you are doing it yourself. The product makes it much easier to work with any not book or online paper out there , from the time I got this product until now I have made a few book.. I even got created and made my own notebook myself ; just like a notebook with hoops, that you open and close, it was not easy but I did it and I am well please !

This is a game-changer. For years I've bought the pre-punched paper, and it was always very fiddly trying to feed it through the printer, had many a frustrating moment where it got caught and jammed or otherwise didn't print how i'd expected. This is *so* much better. I can simply print on whatever paper I want (including much nicer papers than the pre-punched paper), run it through this, and voila, ready to bind. I don't even know *what* I'll do with the pre-punched paper I already had...I have zero appetite for trying to mess with that again.

As an Australian homeschooler, I was after something affordable that’d help me bind pages together and can be reused again and again. And I thought this was perfect for us. Functionally, it’s great. It does exactly what it says it’ll do. But I wasn’t aware that the regular computer paper size in the US was much smaller than the regular computer paper size in Australia, so our Australian papers don’t actually fit in the machine 🤦♀️ - they’re about a centimetre or so too big. So I’ve had to cut all the pages down to size in order to create our booklets. It’s tedious and time consuming and totally not worth it. So as an Australian, I definitely don’t recommend it, but for those elsewhere in the world with small paper like the US, it’s great and works well, I highly recommend it.

The actual product works very well but frustratingly there was no mention in the description that it is not suitable for A4 paper, only letter size!! It's ridiculous to sell a product that is of no use in Australia! Especially since the price is not exactly cheap. I even contacted GBC directly via the contact form on their website but received no reply. That's pretty poor customer service! In the end I was able to modify the punch by removing the paper guide (by removing the middle front underneath sticker and screw). I can now insert an A4 piece of paper but the punch holes do not go all the way to each end. If that matters to you then don't buy this punch. I found that it only slid easily with 3-4 pages. Any more meant a lot of pressure was needed. It would be so easy for GBC to modify the design to suit all sizes of paper so I hope that they do this! If you are needing a cheap way to bind and don't mind imperfect presentation then this can be adapted for your needs. you can use the pro-click spines that can be re-opened as desired or just regular spiral binding coils (and you'll need crimping pliers). For homeschooling, it still works very well. Once I got over the initial shock of the product not working in the way that I was expecting, I have found it still an improvement on the comb-binding system I was using before.

Would definitely buy this again! I am a music teacher and am using this for my students assignment books as well as my personal planner and really anything I want to bind nut need to have the option of adding or removing pages easily. Once you have learned how to make sure everything is lined up and the right amount of pressure needed to roll the puncher across you will be set. I recommend practising on some scrap paper before you attempt to punch documents that can not be replaced. The punch goes both ways. Make sure your page is lined up tight to the starting end or you will end up with unevenly punched pages. It does punch 6 pages with some effort. I prefer to do 5 at a time because it's a bit easier. If you have lots of pages to punch, put on a movie to occupy your mind or enjoy a phone call with a friend or relative. I have been using card stock for the covers and coverstock as page dividers. If you need a folder pocket, make one out a 9x12 envelope and cut it down to size and create an opening, not super professional but it works in the education field working with kids.
