These were attached to a 3/4" piece of plywood to make a large, heavy animal care easier to move.Wheels make everything easier to deal with

There were several other reviews that commented on the smell and brake indentation. I bought two sets of these. The smell right out of the box has a very strong industrial odor and reminded me of the MTBE gas additive. Keep in mind they are in a closed box in plastic bags which would concentrate the smell. It was hard to tell at first if the smell is coming from the wheels or the black paint but it seems to be from the wheels. I installed a set on my heavy oak TV chair and left the other set in the garage exposed so it could gas off for 32 days. I never noticed the smell from the chair but that just might be me. After 32 days the garage set odor had dissipated significantly, maybe down to about 5% and I had to but my nose up to it so these are probably better used in an industrial setting but I think they are OK for interior residential use. Another concern was that the brake cleats left heavy indentations in the wheels. This is true. I engaged the brake on one of the garage wheels, see photo, and checked it after 32 days and per the attached picture it left two heavy indentations. However, per the next picture it can be seen that after one day the indentations are almost gone. So I don't think this is a big issue either.

The stock wheels on my heavy filing cabinet were putting scratches in my hardwood flooring while it was empty and I quickly saw this would be a bigger problem once loaded with files and supplies.At first I put down an area rug but still wanted to move the filing cabinet freely around the office as needed so I decided replace the wheels entirely. (I had bought some replacement roller blade wheels for my chair and wanted the same freedom of movement)The spacing for the mounting brackets had a wider footprint than the stock wheels but we're pretty much the same height. (Comparison photo included to show installed wheels vs original stock). This required for me to use the included larger screws to securely attach them. (Pilot holes are your friend here.) The included screws were also a little deeper than the wood and stick up through the wood ~1/8th of an inch, though the drawers hide this and it doesn't interfere with drawer function.The front wheels come with brakes that allow you to lock it in place by pressing down on the lever or release the brake by pulling up. (There is a cog like guide that keeps the wheel from rotating side to side when the brake is applied).Wheels feel sturdy and work great, allowing me to move the filing cabinet around the office with ease without the need of an area rug to protect my floors.

GBL 2" Heavy Duty Caster Wheels have a foot plate measuring 1.96 x 2.73 ". Using included wood screws, very quick, simple attachment to 2-1/2" square legs of cedar raised planter box. Very slight overlap noted, still visually appealing all-black finish, and very solid connection nonetheless. Firm polyurethane wheels support weight, with enough flex to easily roll over stamped cement furrows without catching. Both the swivel action, and the roll of the wheels include smooth ball-bearing construction. Two of the four wheel sets have step-lever brakes to hold in place or release to reposition.

Good heavy duty wheels. But there are no nuts for the bolts. I will have to go to the market to get the right size nuts for the bolts.

Good quality caster wheels for our display case application. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that QC missed that one of the Phillips screw heads sent was not correct and could not be used. I had to purchase a similar screw to complete the install. If there were an extra screw in the pack or QC would have caught the defect, this would have been a 5 star review. Would actually buy again, but will request some extra screws.BTW - I saw other reviewers state the wheel locks were hard to use with just your foot. We did not have this problem at all. My guess is that the wheels were not installed close enough to the edge to easily use your foot to put the break on or take it off. Just a theory.
