If you want cool burning, long lasting, dollar saving lights, then get yourself a boxful of these and start replacing all your lights. Another reason that I like them is that it does not bother me as much when my wife leaves the light on whenever she leaves a room. BTW, when using these 'instant on' bulbs, you will notice a short flicker a few minutes after turning them on. When used for outdoor security lighting, it is cheaper to turn it on and leave it on 24 hrs a day than it is to buy another photocell receptacle every year.

Great the way it comes on bright right away the dims just so slightly when warmed up and running CFL.
