Not made in PRC. Good clearance for the spindle nut thread to pass through. My old USA Armstrong deep socket has a small hole inside so the spindle thread bottoms out and the nut is not engaged. Very nice quality .

Thin wall allows for access in tight spaces but socket isn’t as deep as advertised. Got my toyota’s axle nut off with no problems.

Nice quality socket. When you have a Toyota or Lexus this is required on many models to remove the front axle nut.

I had two BMW Getrag transmissions, the socket worked for one output shaft nut barely, and not the other. Not deep enough, but a 1 3/16 extra deep oil sending socket.

I couldn't find this socket in town for a reasonable price. I l probably ever use this once and I wasn't about to pay+20 for it. Even next day shipping was 1/2 most others places price. It works perfectly on the rear output shaft nut of a 1995 BMW 325

This 30mm socket is actually quite nice from an appearance perspective. Certainly a good price for the size of socket. However, the specifications for this product on the Amazon page are inaccurate. This socket is not nearly as thin-walled as the product dimension would lead you to believe. They state 1.4 inches wide, but I measured it at 1.57" wide. Actually this product worked fine for removing my BMW Getrag 260 rear output flange - once I pulled out the nut lock plate. So buy this and save yourself $52 versus the German made Stahlwille piece. I used this socket with a Harbor Freight "Earthquake" 1/2 Impact (which is actually a pretty darn good tool) and it pulled the 30mm nut right off when breaker bars and Cambell Hausfeld impacts wouldn't. I'm pleased.

12 point socket for Toyota and VW axle nuts. Great tool and is strong. Use a impact gun on this even though i am not supposed to and still has not cracked or broke yet. Have had this tool for 4 years now.

I received the product very quickly, it was packaged well, and the price was very reasonable. I was using it to remove an axle nut and it served its purpose exceptionally. Of course, it's not an impact socket so you shouldn't use it with air tools, but it worked fine with a breaker bar. Exactly what I had ordered.
