I've purchased many gear wrench products, and most are equal to husky tools offered at home depot. So good for the price, just don't know how well they'd hold up to a torture test.

Deceiving product description - the inside walls are not rounded, as shown in the product images, but flat, with small radial relief at the corners of the hex. The inside chamfer is too big and would greatly reduce the nut's hex engagement in shallow, short axle nuts (BMW E30 for example, especially with the securing plate installed). Would have had to modify it and reduce the chamfer on a lathe, but why would I do that? The fit on the 30mm nut is quite loose. Not sure how this product can make it to the "Amazon's Choice" list. Returning for cheaper and better quality item.

For some reason this socket is super heavy as in weight i have other brands and Gearwrench ones that are a size bigger that weigh less not thrilled about the weight of the socket

I haven't used the socket yet I bought it so I don't have to borrow one. It seems to be good quality we'll know more when used.
