One needs GEARWRENCH dedicated handle to use. Not a normal 1/4 square drive.

Similar to another reviewer, I got caught in the trap. I needed a 10mm socket for 1/4" drive. Not really sure what "pass through" is, as long as it is 1/4" drive, right? Well, no. there is no 1/4" square socket on the back for a typical 1/4" ratchet as I'd expected. It is a round hole. To allow "passthrough" I guess.Great price for a quality bit of hardware. Just won't work at all for what I need. Nice knurls though so will work by hand quite nicely to spin nuts on and off. I won't return it because I don't want to waste the effort for everybody in doing so. The cost of my "pass through" education.

Lost my 1/4" - 10mm socket for my Craftsman Max Axess socket set. Almost impossible to find Max Axess sockets. This is a perfect fit!!

Cheap, quick ship. Gear wrench sockets are great for everyday work. Their ratchet handles won't stand up to high torque applications, like rusty bolts on a car, but for normal stuff they're awesome.

This is for the gearwrench vortex pass through system. It is *NOT* 1/4” drive at all.I bought this specially for a 1/4” drive wrench and absolutely will not work. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR SOCKET

I needed another one to replace a lost unit.Just wished the price was cheaper, as the other near sizes are half the price!Goes to show that the 10mm is the most used socket!
