Maybe there's a reason why these have tapered heads but to me it seems really counter-intuitive. That's my only real complaint. Granted, I've always been notoriously bad at hitting nails on the head but to me, I would have preferred the heads of these punches to be larger rather than smaller (tapered). Other than that, they seem well-made and durable. Actually, some sort of storage sleeve would have been nice too, at least as an add-on option.

Nice to have long rods on the punches. Great for a follower when taking out or replacing pins!

I was really impressed with this set of pin punches. The workmanship of the individual punches is excellent. The carrying case appears to be very durable. I fully expect these punches to be a hand-me-down to my son and one of his two boys.

Pretty good set for the price. I overhaul/repair gas turbine engines. These take a beating and have held up very well. Price is right.
