I use this primarily as a backpack. When doing so, you still have the straps hanging around and in the way. The space is good, but the one thing that is VERY disappointing is how hard and scratchy the arm straps are. I have actually scraped and hurt my forearm trying to put this backpack on. I tried to return it but they are CHARGING me to return it.

I love this bag!!! Plenty of storage capacity and different ways to carry it. Plus it is very comfortable to carry around.
