This product will work for what it is. The sewing is questionable and material cutting and sizing is also off. For the price, I guess it is what it is?Hope this helps.

I have a Valve Index and on the front of this headset are 2 cameras for various reasons relating to VR. However, when I am not using my headset, I hang it from my ceiling and the cameras are technically always on. This is a little unnerving as it gives anyone who accesses my home network a full fish eye view of the room from the ceiling. To solve this, I got this cover and put it over the FRONT of my headset, rather than the face side. And it works perfectly.Unfortunately, I had to get a replacement sent out because the first cover they sent me had its elastic snapped, so it wouldn’t snuggly hug the headset and it was more like a loose bag/cover and wouldn’t hold to the headset, which is an issue since mine is hanging from the ceiling.Not using it for its intended purpose, however for my purpose it works great! Highly recommend it for any other Index users that want to ensure they have privacy through the Headset’s cameras.

Very thin, not easy to secure and falls off easily. Offers good protection from UV, moderate protection from dust, minimal protection from scratches, and just about nothing else. Overall is relatively cheap and better than nothing but that's about all it has going for it.

Um das Produkt auch effektiv als Sonnenschutz/Lichtschutz nutzen zu können empfehle ich Socken oder vergleichbares unter zu legen. Die Abdeckung allein taugt dazu nicht wirklich. Der Stoff ist Lichtdurchlässig, was bei einem Linsenschutz fatale folgen haben kann. Dies sollte man dabei bedenken. Der Gummizug ist Straff und lässt sich gut über die VR-Brille aufziehen. Alles in allem ist es in ordnung.

I have a Vive Pro HMD and it works, I suppose. There's a large gap where the nose insert is. I mainly wanted it to block sunlight, but I may need to worry about dusting now as well, given the lack of a suitable fit.For this to truly work on a Vive Pro, it'd have to have securing straps (like velcro, preferably) that run around the headset. I believe that would properly close the nose gap.

I was originally storing my Vive in the packaging it came in after each use to ensure no sunlight damaged the lenses, but it was so bulky and a bit of a hassle. This is so much easier to slip on after each use to prevent both sun damage and dust. The fabric isn't terribly sturdy, but for the price it's more than sufficient.

I find I have to clean my lenses much less often after starting to use this simple cover. The fit sometimes is a little weird but it definitely does the job. Would definitely recommend it for an expensive piece of hardware like the Vive.
