I got this to create a (hopefully) bug-free zone when we head out camping this summer. It was fairly easy to set up, but you need to be able to hang it up high enough and having 4 adjustable poles for the corners is essential in my opinion. My test set up wasn't ideal, but I wanted to see how it worked and give a valid review. The tent comes with 12 stakes and 8 guy lines. The stakes are nice, but could be a bit beefy-er and a few extra would be good too. I found that they tended to slip in soft ground. The guy lines have a retro-reflective coating and that is a nice feature. The sides are easy to roll up, just start at one side of a door and work your way around. There are straps at the bottom of each corner, I think it would have been nice if the connection was a fasttek type buckle, rather than just one that you thread the strap through, but maybe I'm not sure how to use that. There were no instructions included, so I wasn't sure.It is large enough to put over a picnic table and I imagine it will work fine. I'll update my review if anything changes after some real-world use.

Got this tent to setup at our property to get a bug free spot for when we're out in the woods. The tent cover is really easy to setup with the guide wires and it's large enough so everyone had good room to move around inside. Best part is the top is also waterproof so if it starts raining, you're good inside. Well worth the money for what you get!

For a lightweight bug and shade tarp this will do the job and is fairly well constructed. For the price I have zero complaints. However! At a minimum you will need at least a rope ridgeline to span the top. A rope ridgeline and poles would be the most ideal, but "as is" it's nearly impossible to prevent sagging. Alone, under tension and with the heat of the day there is enough stretch in the fabric to cause quite a bit of sagging and would require constant adjustment of the upper and side tiedowns.I do wish there were ridge ties in order to secure the top ridge to a ridgeline. That would be a big help to prevent flapping under windy conditions, but I didn't anticipate it would have any when I bought it and can't hold that against the Manufacturer. Using an over and under rope ridgeline will serve the same purpose.I'm giving it a 5 star because it works exactly as advertised, it's fairly durable and it's certainly quite budget friendly. I haven't been able to test how waterproof it is, but the ripstop type material looks decent and I would anticipate it serving it's purpose under a mild rain. There is no mention of the top being treated so, from experience, I would anticipate the material to eventually saturate, drip and require an additional waterproofing treatment to be truly waterproof. YMMV

This tent is perfect for BBQs and other outdoor events. While the material is a bit thin, the overall quality is decent. The entire structure is made of mesh, except for the top, which allows you to easily place a table inside or use it over a picnic table at a campsite to keep insects away. It's also comfortable enough for sleeping on hot nights, providing plenty of room. I love that the sides can be rolled up to create a canopy for shade, and you can completely zip it closed while ensuring that no bugs can get in, even with the cords running through the zipper. There are a few downsides to note. The tent does not come with poles, so you'll need to hang it between trees; it has designated spots for poles, but those must be purchased separately. Additionally, the tent lacks a bottom, so you’ll need to buy a tarp to use as a floor if you prefer not to sleep directly on the ground. This isn’t as much of an issue while eating in it, but for sleeping, having a floor would have been a nice feature.Overall, this is a decent tent that will work well, especially for our BBQ on the 4th of July when we want to keep bugs away from our food and ourselves during the night.

Good bug tent to put over a picnic table or your gathering spot for meals at a campsite. I don't think it's designed as a sleeping tent but I guess you do that - just know it has no floor. The biggest issue is that it does not come with any poles, so unless you are setting it up between 2 trees to keep the top line tight, the big tent will sag. Fortunately we have several telescoping camping poles since we always tarps to provide shade and shelter from rain.
