I love the concept of this. Years ago we were zip tying little baskets from the dollar store for our rats to snuggle into. Ideas from the internet. When I found these I thought they’d be perfect because we could move them easily instead of having to cut the zip ties and manuring to rehang. Our girls love these but I’m always trying to remount them to the date. The hooks shift easily despite the locking feature. If our girls jump from one to another the hook comes lose and then it’s only half hanging from the cage. We’ve tried hanging it in different angles but the results continue to be the same - it just doesn’t stay in place. Still, our rats do absolutely love them. We do have other thing for them to play in but sometimes they want something that breathes easier (nothing with fleece or fabrics). I just wish they hooks would lock to the cage better.

Plastic is easy to clean and is so much easier than my last baskets that had too many large holes in the bottom where poop would get smushed into. The liners that come with them ended up being hard to clean so I tossed them and use. It pieces of fleece.
