Bought for a friend. He uses them a lot for a variety of spices. Seems to not rust which is important near the corrosive environment (near Salty water).

The holes are too big for a shaker- I have to be careful pouring out. The lid otherwise stays on well and with no issues.

The hole are a little large for table salt, need to cover most of them to avoid too much. Great from medium grind pepper and spices.

The holes on top are HUGE and definitely meant for bigger spices. You will get half a bottle of salt if you try to shake this, definitely DO NOT use for salt or pepper.

Mostly great to keep condiments dryer, much less caking of salt & galiic powder. Pepper flows too quickly, had to learn restraint.Dishwasher killed & deformed plastic, hand wash only, hence 1 star off.
