I think these are decent mid-price knee pads. The hook and Velcro system holds them in place well and are good for mixed kneel/stand work where you want to leave your pads on and work standing too. If you’re on your knees for extended times I think a thicker band is more comfortable but then those restrict you walking after and you end up having to slide them down or take them off.All in all these are a good balance on cost, comfort and cushioning for mixed use jobs where you want to go between kneeling and standing while leaving them one.

Crawling around on all four to accomplish things is not hard. Finding that one Lego stud piece your kid lost under the couch by kneeling on it makes for great anger management training. Having a pair of these knee pads would have been the easy way out of that scenario. The knee pads are comfortable to wear and stay in place over your jeans when you stand up and walk around. With the added material behind your knee, you will want to minimize sitting on your heels with these on.Good value for the quality of the pair. They do not smell of a plastics chemical plant and have good stitching where I can see the seams. Heck, they are even more comfortable than kneeing on padded carpet alone, and the rubber front has enough traction and protection from those Lego studs.

Through the VINE program, I ordered the Freekyrock Gel Knee Pads for Work, Professional Knee Pads for Men and Women with Soft Foam, Heavy Duty Cap, Adjustable Straps, Quick-Fasten Buckle for Construction, Gardening, Welding, Roofing, and Cleaning. They are comfortable to wear. My wife has taken to borrowing them for gardening. I use them for my DIY welding projects. They are easy to use, and the adjustable straps make them comfortable. Whether kneeling on cement, iron, or dirt, the Freekyrock gel knee pads are comfortable.

They both seem to be tilting in the same direction. The straps are set up for left and right knees. But the pads themselves look like they're both designed for a right knee. They both seem to be tilting in the same direction. I'm sure they will work just fine but knowing how they both tilt in the same direction just really bugs me.

Decent set of kneepads and a great value compared to the big box stores options

These are really comfortable knee pads and must have for doing flooring or anything that requires you to be on your knees for an extended period of time. I've got skinny legs and these fit me perfectly.

Everyone hates spending time on their knees. I have railroad tracks all over my knees from college sports & I think I like less than most. I needed lighting in the attic area over my outbuilding and had been putting it off because of the prolonged knee time/travel required. I got the FREEKYROCK pads because the name made me laugh (I figured that was a sign). The gel-pad sounded promising. They showed up, I marked them Right and Left (they do not, and should) for easy On/Off, adjusted them for my legs, and did my wiring. 1) The back-of-the-knee strap is annoying, and they do want to work their way down. Do I have a better idea? No, other than some sort of garter-belt type thing that is never going to happen. 2) They were impressively easy on my knees. The gel pad is legit, and far better than foam padding of my distant past. 3) Someone said they had a bad chemical smell until they out-gassed for a bit. I don't know because I cannot smell from birth. I just bring it up because it is my annual win in that category. Bam.

This is my second pair of FREEKYROCK knee pads. Our first pair had fabric on the front, and we wanted a pair that won't get as dirty doing yard work, and would be easier to clean. These have a hard plastic shell on the front which is easy to clean. The gel inside makes these very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. The straps keep them secure, even though they are a little big on my wife and I. I do wish these had a pull loop on the top like our other pair, but it is not the end of the world that they don't.They came wrapped in plastic and had some off gassing to do, but if you are going to use them outside or keep them in a garage or shed then not really a big deal.
