I installed this in my 1966 Chevelle. I put a 700R4 transmission in the car. This switch takes the car out of overdrive when the brakes are applied. Switch works as it should with no problems or issues. Easy to install.

This is a genuine GM part which was originally designed for brake lights and cruise control. I use it for brake lights and to disconnect of torque converter when brakes are applied. Works perfectly because it is an exact replacement for the part I was replacing.

I have a 700r4 in my 77c10 and I use this to wire up the torque converter lock up disengage. Works straight a little bit tricky to screw in but besides that good.

Good part. Slightly different from 1977 OEM. Original had brake switch blades on top and the Cruise Control blades on the end of the switch. This new switch has the connections on one side of the switch. . Also overall diameter of this switch is slightly smaller that the old one which is a VERY GOOD thing. Getting the old one out was much harder than putting this one in. Good design change!

Installed directly into a pedal assembly in CJ7 for an LS 4L60e swap. Allows tcc control with 1 pair of terminals and the other operates the factory brake lamps.
