Didnt use. Problem turned out to be with module. This part on my 2007 Saturn Vue is not visible and is located inside of hub. I would recommend dealer assistance.

Bought this to fix a code on my HHR. While removing the old one, I found the wire was chewed through by some varmint, most likely a mouse. I most likely would not have found the bad wire without actually changing the part, so I soldered the wire back together and while I was at it, I just used the new part. I doubt there was anything wrong with the old part but, since I had it apart anyhow, I put the new one back in. Problem fixed.

Although Amazon shows this part as not a direct fit for the Chevy Cobalt, I replaced mine on my 2005 model and it works fine. A bad sensor didn't end up being the root cause of my problem, but rather the wiring going to it. Anyways, it doesn't hurt to replace it as it is a cheap part to purchase.
