This makes my generator a little more adaptable since it has only one standard three prong socket. The adapter is simple to install, locks in place firmly and hold an extension cord in place properly. It's compact and easy to stow with the generator. I'm sure many generators out there have this style plug. Aslo, RV's, Fish Houses, etc. may benefit from this power adapter. Works properly as it should.

Simple adaptor to go from a L5-30 outlet on a generator (or source) to the standard 120V cords. Just beware that your source is 30A capacity and if you have too much draw on the cords, they may get hot (as they aren't limited to 15 or 20 amp by breakers). It's simple to avoid issues with some thought about what you connect, but it still is possible to get into trouble.
