This cover is made of a strong material that seems to be assembled well with no issues in the stitching at each seam. It should work well in wet weather (haven't gone out with in in poor weather yet. I just wish it had some type of frame (something like fiberglass camping tent poles) to help give it some structure. As it is it just sorta drapes all around the unit and looks cheap. The listing photos imply it's a bit more stiff/rigid around the top.

We ordered the NGB Generator Cover for our EcoFlow Smart Generator 4000, because EcoFlow did not offer one. The cover did not fit neatly (I knew it wouldn’t) because the generator does not have a square-cornered frame like some, or a flat top. We made it work by constructing a light frame from narrow strips of wood. The frame is the size of the top of the cover, and lies on top of the generator to support the cover. The frame and cover work well together, and the tie down strap underneath the machine keeps everything in place. (One minor issue: the cover is about 1-1/2” too long on the sides, so we set the generator up on pavers.)The cover fabric is slightly thinner than I expected, but it is still relatively sturdy, and repels rain well. The construction is weaker than I prefer, with single stitching on most seams and edges. However, there’s not significant stress on any seams, even the zippers, so I don’t think it will be a problem.Shortly after we got the cover into place, we had a severe rain storm, lots of wind. The storm was a good test. With the bottom strap in place, the cover stayed in place, didn’t slip noticeably, and did its job well. Our generator lives on a side porch, and doesn’t get a lot of direct sunlight in the warm months. In direct sunlight year-round, it would probably deteriorate quicker.Made in CHINA.

I got this Khaki-GC61 cover for my new Westinghouse iGen4000DFcv inverter generator. The cover is made to fit “most 3700-7250 Watt generators” (mine is 4000 watts). As with most products of this type with a wide range of sizes to cover, the fit is less than ideal. It pretty much swallows my generator. They do recommend measuring your generator before ordering, but I hoped it would adjust enough to function. I think I can make it work. It should keep rain off of the controls, but I’m not sure if it will be totally safe to run with the cover in place. I might try a bungee cord or two to be sure the rear flap doesn’t work its way down over the exhaust and cause a fire. The fabric seems tough, though I haven’t tested water repellency yet. It has multiple zippers and flaps to allow access to just about any part of the generator. Overall construction seems quite good.Regardless of its suitability for use with a running generator, I can at least use it for storage. It definitely covers it!

i received a plastic generator cover, made of a sturdy thick plastic that looks like it will hold up & protect my generator from dust while its not being used. It was easy to fit over the generator but not too large on my champion 3500. It's advertised as being usable while the generator is running but with my small generator i find it easier to just take the cover off instead and set it aside. All in all a simple but useful cover!

Using this around our garage area makes the lighter color get filthy rather quickly. Overall this does fit our smaller residential generator from Lowes. Measure your generator size before purchase, and make sure this lines up with your filling cap.The fabric is decent quality, and is decently waterproof. Although we mainly use this in the snow rather than the rain, it keeps the snow from getting down into our generator in winter. Not a bad cover for the price. As long as you keep it in a clean place.

For some reason, we have had more than our normal share of grid down events here on the Texas Gulf Coast lately. Generators are becoming more and more common in my area. Many times when you need a generator, the weather is still bad outside, yet you have to put the genny away from the house due to carbon monoxide concerns. This cover will protect your genny while it's in storage and while it is doing it's job providing you power during an outage.I have more than one cover, and this one seems to be more heavy duty and durable than the other cover that I have.
