The interlock kit is a device that manages power to a switchboard. The interlock ensures that the generator breaker and main breaker cannot be closed at the same time. Interlocks ensure the safety of anyone working on the wires and prevent dangerous electrical feedback within the building.

Compatible with Compatible with ITE Gould Murray Siemens Thomas and Betts 150 and 200 AMP Panels. 1/4 Inch Spacing between main breaker and generator breaker.

Easy to install, works as described in ad. Everything needed was included in the kit. Unless buyer has good background in electrical installation, recommend leaving install to a those with proper training.

This is so much more easy than installing a real transfer switch.There are some niggling bits like how the instructions are written or that the drill bit was a little crooked but if you are putting this in, you probably have all of that covered anyway. The hardware fits well and installation was very straightforward. This seems well made and definitely worth the cost.

Well made product and very good price compared to some others. Can be used for panels with the breaker on the left or the right. If used with the breaker on the right, you just flip it over but note that the red warning label will not be visible as it will be on the underside. Haven't installed this yet but I may be able to peel it off and put it on the other side. As some others have mentioned, there is no explanation on the purpose of the zip ties. That remains a mystery.

Product wouldn't allow my inlet breaker back to the fully on position even though it was located correct on the dead front. I had to grind off an extra quarter inch of material so my breaker could be turned on without tention on it. Not a big deal but now it works perfectly. Expensive for what you get, cheap compared to what others are charging.
