Skull is labeled but did not come with something that mentions what the part of the skull is, I was expecting a guide or something

I thought having the different bones labeled by number would be helpful when studying, but honestly if I could go back I would have ordered one without numbers and numbered the parts that I needed to know for my class with a sharpie or something. I ended up having to add several numbers for parts/processes that are not numbered by the manufacturer, but that I need to know for my class, and theres tons of things numbered that I dont need to know. Also the numbers rub off if u justrub ur finger on them accidentally. So Ive had to re-label so many parts, and it their numbering system makes zero sense to me. Long story short, you might as well just wipe the scull down with acetone or rubbing alcohol, and then number the bones in an order that makes sense to you...Because so many things that are numbered are unneccessary for most anatomy classes, while there are other things that are left out like the zygomatic processes and squamous suture,, and the greater wing of the sphenoid. There are plenty of other things left out, but those 3 are just the first ones that I feel obviously should be labeled as theyre not tiny/insignificant features of the scull. But for the price it was not a bad deal. However if you are taking anatomy and think the scull is hard to memorize then I highly suggest you invest in a full skeletal bone set, which will include a scull anyway too. I ended up having to buy a full skeleton for $120 a week after purchasing this scull because theres just no way I could remember the hundreds bones (and not to mention the features on each bone) without physically holding the bones and developing an intimate relationship with them lol. You can always return them a month later after you have memorized everything you needed to learn.

La única crítica que le encuentro a este producto, es que viene enumerado, pero estos números se borran fácilmente, solo basta con tocar un poco estos números para que estos desaparezcan, por lo que resulta complicado, por no decir imposible reconocer las partes del cráneo.

I named my skull Reginald and he helped me get 100% on my anatomy exam! I freaking love this, he sits on my desk now for review and moral support. Affordable, accurate, helpful, awesome.

I really love this skull! As a graduate student trying to study anatomy at home with no in-person lab components, I was having a difficult time understanding the 3D nature of the human body. This skull is anatomically accurate, MUCH less expensive than others I looked at, and even came with predrawn numbers and an answer key sheet! It is a good weight, not weight, light or heavy. The sutures are also drawn. I have attached some pictures- the numbers are starting to rub off in a few places simply because that's how much use I've gotten out of it! It is very easy to just redraw them with a sharpie. The top of the skull comes off so you can look inside. There are even indents of some of the arteries- how cool! The jaw articulates as well, which was helpful when I was trying to get a grasp on how the TMJ works.Note: some of the numbers can be tricky to find! There is one that I ultimately couldn't find. Make sure you check all aspects, even removing the jaw will help you see some numbers!
