The buyer will receive: a custom low profile stainless steel exhaust stub, a high temperature flexible graphite gasket, a custom stub to 1-1/2” ID tubing adapter, quick disconnect fittings, longer replacement screws & hex wrench, the specified length of 1-1/2 I.D. flexible galvanized exhaust pipe, and the proper size U-bolt clamp. The design in this listing is compatible with the Honda EU6500is & EU7000is inverter generators.

the exhaust tube gets real hot as expected...it fit my honda eu7000is perfect...the removable connector works good, no need to unbolt a clamp to remove and stores easily just bend to a u shape and hang it on a wall. i had no promlems with the gasket as others have said, but i wish they sold the gasket seperate just in case for a backup. its pricey but it works great and safe

This exhaust works great. I purchased the 8 ft length. I goes out under my garage door. The fumes can no longer let Carbon Monoxide accumulate in the detached garage! Quality pipe & flange to bolt up to our Honda 7000IS Great Ives Gen Exhaust.

Item exactly as ordered. Parts were of high quality. Installation was simple. I would highly recommend this.The exhaust system DOES GET HOT when the generator is running, like every direct exhaust system anywhere.Leave plenty of clearance around the exhaust tubing when running and do not place against anything that is flammable or that will melt. This means that you do not want the exhaust tubing to touch or come too close to a wood door or window frame or anything plastic.Be advised that any experiments involving leaving a plastic gas can with gasoline in it close to the exhaust system will teach you a practical lesson about radiant heat, the melting point of plastic, and the three/four sides of the fire triangle/tetrahedron and end badly for you.Allow sufficient time for quick connector and exhaust tubing to cool after use, as it will be hot enough after even 10 minutes of generator run time to be capable of causing serious burns.In other words, use some doggone common sense. If you don't know what you are doing, ask someone who does.All that said, I am an adult who has common sense, and this is exactly what I was looking for for my generator. I could not be more thrilled with the product.Yes, obvious if you think about it, but exhaust systems aren't common with portable generators, so it is worth mentioning. ;-)
