Exactly as specced, in issue wrapping. Attaches easily using existing hardware (the suspension does not come with hardware).

Very durable and very adjustable. Now my helmet is rock solid on my head and i can use my nape protection pad.

LWH Centex Retention Helmet strap is very effective. The support is comfortable and practical for military use. I highly recommend this over ordinary issue chin straps. Only issue if you using it for Army use you may have to somehow cover up the Marine eagle globe and anchor. This is stamped on the rear retention strap. This does not come with hardwear for installation so altering or obtaining new hardware may be needed. Other then that it's a great purchase.

This is a perfect replacement for the standard issue retention straps on your MICH/ACH helmet. It is far nicer and more comfortable, plus it isn't black or glow in the dark ACU foilage green. Either of those colors basically blend with nothing, Coyote tan is a great color, and should be standard issue for use on all military gear.I see a lot of other people talking about the grommets being too small for the bolts. This is not an issue if you simply thread the straps through the standard slip buckles that are already on your helmet. They fit through easily and that gives you a little more adjustability. No modification is needed.

Very poor quality....wouldn't hold up for more than a couple of hours in the field....I threw mine way...

It's not a terrible strap but the "head-loc" one is 10x better in my opinion..

Purchased this, as it looked more comfortable and secure than the harness/retention straps that come with an Army ACH. Has the same number of screw holes, but the USMC helmet uses smaller locking screws, so it didn't fit. . . To make it work, I removed the grommets in the straps with my Leatherman. . . Then I ended up reaming out the holes with a soldering iron. . . Aside from that, the strap has simpler adjustment points than the ACH straps, and is a little more comfortable. . .

Awesome chinstrap, the only issue I had was it doesn’t fit modern ACH helmets due to the eyelets. The other issue is it doesn’t come with screws and/or directions. I had to really look at the pictures to determine its wear ability and connection points. You’d think it’d be easy but it took some time and modification to fit my Kevlar. Overall, once it was all hook-up and ready to go it was a dream product especially for outside the wire operations. It gives the ACH a better fit and feel. This coupled with the memory foam helmet pads I bought with it make the Kevlar a dream fit and comfortable to wear under any circumstances for hours at a time. Certainly a quality product.
