This H7 HEPA filter has a dark yellow frame, the original one that came with the vacuum had a black frame, otherwise it is identical, has a slightly tighter fit than the original that is good considering we want to minimize unfiltered air leakage. This filter is made in China.Purchasing price was good almost half the retail store price.

well, it beats the old one. my father vacuumed up a bunch of concrete dust and junk with it and i had to run the vacuum for a while without one. keeps the allergens down when i vacuum and with 4 cats here it helps a lot. definitely don't want to be sucking that dander off the carpet and blowing it into the air.

The price was right. It was a perfect fit and the delivery was super fast. It is just as if I purchased in the store but better since I did not have to drive there.

I have two older model Eureka Vacuums that take the same Hepa Filter. I thought the online (Amazon) price of these filters was great compared to purchasing in a store. The Hepa filter fit tight in my TRUE CLEAN Vacuum and no so tight in the ALTIMA Vacuum. Could be just the manufacting of this brand of filter. I am going to order through another vendor and see. I gave 3 stars for this reason but I would order these filters again because they work great in my Eureka TRUE CLEAN Vacuum.

Product fits and works as advertised too bad my vacuum cleaner went out a day after i installed it. Not the products fault.

This is a stock replacement filter for all Eureka vacuums that use the HF-7 filters. Exact same product as came with the vacuum. I had experienced loss of suction in my vacuum and realized that my filter needed replacing. As soon as I replaced it the vacuum was working like new.Make sure you follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule for best operation, and make sure that you are checking all filters on your vacuum. Mine has two filters in addition to a foam filter that goes over one of those filters. There is also a small yellow plastic filter cup at the top of the dist chamber that unsnaps and should be cleaned periodically to ensure proper suction is maintained. In short: follow the guidelines in the owner's manual and replace/clean the filters as per the schedule and your vacuum will preform better!I was shipped the correct filter, since there are currently 4 good reviews and only one reviewer who has experienced problems with them I'd assume they are almost always reliable. Otherwise you'd see more negatives!

Was sent a Eureka HF-5 instead of HF-7. Amazon recommended to just return and not reorder because the wrong part would most likely be sent again. Have to find another vendor.
