I got annoyed with three different brands of aftermarket steadies having a short lifespan, so took a chance on this for my 2.5 swapped 2005 ZXW 5 speed.You will have to use a hacksaw / bandsaw to trim down the ribbing on the small end to fit in the gearbox bracket.I trimmed both sides (and the end), but you actually only need to cut one side down (the upper side).You will need a lever wedged between the Engine block and transmission shaft to pry the engine forwards to give enough room to get this in (put the big end in the pocket first - without the bolt, and you can just squeeze the small end in using the lever to nudge the bottom of the driveline forwards).Leave the plastic sleeves in the boltholes; they are there for a reason!This is genuine Ford, but IS made in China. But so we’re the three different mounts I’ve tried previously, all of which failed.

The part number for the manual transmission was listed as discontinued everywhere I looked (8S4Z-6068-B) but this part fit perfectly on my 2009 Focus. The only difference was the number on embossed into the rubber. I'm assuming it's a different compound (softer or harder) but it feels fine to me.

I have a 06 ford focus zx4 and it didnt fit into my bracket initially. I had to grind the two grooves in the bracket down with a dremel so it could fit properly. But it works and took the vibration out of the car.
