This front shock absorber mounting cap is exactly like the existing on my vehicle. Although seemingly trivial part, it is essential to keep the water and dirt out that will rust the top nut and thread. I had one missing after servicing my vehicle and it created a lot of rust that eventually caused the strut mount fail. Highly recommend this exact fit product.

Lost the original which was missing and allowed water to get on top of the shock mount and not drain. Caused rust. I removed the other side which had the cap and it had zero rust. This replacement snapped in in about 3 seconds. Done.
