Excellent hood latch cable. HOWEVER, if someone could point me in the direction of replacing one on a 2017 kia optima, that would be great since I can't find ANYTHING on how to do so.

Worked perfectly on my 2009 Kia Rio. You will need to remove the driver side fender liner to access the cable. You might also need some long needle nose pliers to fish the cable through the fender and into the engine compartment. Otherwise a fairly easy job that fixed my broken hood release.

Fit my 2009 Kia Rio LX perfectly. The easiest way to install is to remove the wheel well liner and go in through that way. Theres a small metal ring you will need to remove to take out the old one. I'm sure it's a long-lasting product but the transmission on my car blew up literally 24 hours after putting this in so at least I could open the hood and go "Ah crap". 10/10

Perfect fit for my 2009 Kia Rio! Easy install just remove inner fender cover and use a sting to guide the new part into position. Would recommend.
