Very easy set up. Gorgeous leather tufted seat. Easy up or down adjustable mechanism. Packaged very well. Very firm cushioning. Excellent customer service. If these are what you're looking for in a piano bench, don't miss this item... unless you want to pay $700 or more for one.

Like others, I thoroughly researched all available adjustable benches. I wanted to replace the Yamaha standard bench that came with our new digital piano. I was surprised at how relatively expensive most of them are. When I first came across CPS, I didn’t pay much attention, thinking I’d prefer buying from a bench manufacturer or their dealer, rather than an importer. But the more carefully I looked at alternatives, and the more I studied the CPS site, the more I appreciated the quality/value equation of CPS’s products. I was influenced by the positive reviews, and am happy to add mine. Key points are as follows:• Real leather with excellent appearance• Sturdy height adjustment mechanism• Wide height adjustment range• Wooden adjustment knobs• Wooden skirt, no visible space when fully raised• Storage under seat – very handy• Ebony satin finish on legs is perfect and attractive• In my opinion, the bench size looks great with a digital piano• Very simple leg assembly• Immediate shipmentFrankly, I don’t think higher quality is available at more than twice the price. My only (minor) criticism is that adjusting through the full height range requires MANY turns of the knob, but, that “comes with the territory” on a mechanism that provides fine adjustment vs. pre-set levels.I had contacted CPS with some questions prior to purchase and found them quite helpful.

I was looking for a bench that could adjust fairly high, and this fits the bill nicely, as far as that goes. I like the fact the the "skirt" hides the raising/lowering mechanism. It is not a soft seat, however, and when playing for 6 hours plus or more per day, it is hard on the bottom thighs - the edges of the seat are unforgiving, thus they put a lot of pressure on the thigh. I find I still need to use a cushion, which I was hoping to avoid. If you are a pianist who plays many hours per day, I would recommend spending the extra for a Jansen bench.

I just got done practicing for an hour and the bench is perfect for me. I love how it adjusts and it is very comfortable to sit on. I can set it up for my tall husband or my short grandkids and it works well. It was a great price compared to other benches of this type too!

Had it for two days, very impressed by the quality so far.Looks like it is constructed well, very very comfortable, height adjustment is a must.I you are serious about playing this upgrade will make your time at the piano way more enjoyable.TWO MONTH UPDATEI really like this bench it has made a difference in the amount of time and enjoyment playing the piano, very comfortable, too early to tell on durability but nothing has broken, quite an upgrade from casio bench.
