I went to Japan recently and only had a small coin pouch to carry around; I quickly got tired of trying to fish the correct coin out of it without being able to see them. This one caught my eye because it opens kind of like a small box, which seems much nicer to pick coins out of!It does indeed open nicely like a box and can hold a fair number of coins. I was wondering how anyone would manage to get a card in the inner slot but it turns out it's more like a false bottom! You can lift the whole "pocket" up to put your card in, which also means you can use it as a hiding place to stash some paper bills or similar, which could come in handy. The external pocket is not RFID blocked so you can use it with a transit card, which was another thing I struggled with on my Japan trip (forgot my pass case and the loose transit card tended to try and fall out of my pockets). My only minor complaint is that the velcro on the top is the pointy side, so it's a little rough on the finger when holding the pouch open. You can adjust your grip to account for this but it would've been an easy fix.All in all I'm impressed by it and look forward to using it on my next trip!

This lovely genuine leather coin purse comes with a credit card size RFID sheet that you can slip into the pocket. It is not completely lined with RFID material. The Velcro closure is super strong, so there's no quietly opening it. There's a flap under the coin pocket that lifts up and you can store your credit cards there or right under your coins . If you have a lot of coins, the Velcro is wide enough to adapt, but it does get much bulkier. My driver's license barely fits into the outside pocket. I thought it might be a good coin purse for flea marketing, but it's just too odd to work for me.

Got this purse for a twofold purpose. For domestic use, my wife brings this along in her purse, so loose change no longer lines the bottom of her purse, and makes checkouts easier when she pays in cash. For me, I have used it for international travel. For EU countries $1 are in coins and when I use cash I typically don't carry loose change in my pocket. This leaves me with coins coming home. I use this purse to make change now in one pocket along with a few bills leaving the main wallet out of sight. I also agree that the outside slot is useful for Metro card etc. In worse case scenario using this purse limits your financial damage if it's stolen. In terms of functionality, it could use some improvement. It's a very tight velcro bond and you need to hold it vertically and firmly when opening, or you may spill out coins. Takes a few times to get used it and you adjust but make sure you get comfortable with it. I have no way of verifying RFD claim and it's probably why they don't have a zippered compartment for coins. So I'm happy with purchase, the leather is good quality and doesn't appear to be bonded leather which will peel with age. It fills a specific need.

The ALTTUOTA Genuine Leather Travel Coin Purse with RFID Blocking is just too thick, making it hard to open the Velcro coin purse. There are also not enough card slots.I wanted the RFID Blocking feature, but the thickness of the Coin Purse is too big for my purses, and the Velcro takes a man's strength to open.It is just not feminine for my needs.

This change purse/slim wallet is quite compact when closed. It velcros shut and it appears as if the Velcro is glued on. The Velcro is so grippy that I had to hold the corner down with my fingernail for fear that pulling the wallet open would pull the Velcro off. I am using it to store the small amount of change that usually is rolling around on the bottom of my purse. It does not hold a lot if you want it to be fairly flat but it serves its purpose.

I'll be the first to say, this isn't going to be the ideal product for everyone. If you're looking for something to replace an entire wallet, this may not be the one for you. But if you're looking for something compact to use in place of a larger wallet while traveling, a coin purse to supplement other wallets, purses, or pouches, or if you're like me and you just like to collect lots of different wallets and pouches to use in a variety of different circumstances, this will serve you well. It's quite well thought out in its design. The inner "hidden" pocket can easily take about three credit cards, and the outer pocket can hold one more, or an ID, or a small stack of business cards. Even when fully loaded, there's plenty of room to store a decent collection of loose change. The velcro holding it closed is quite strong. I noticed some other reviewers complained about the force required to open it, and that is something to be aware of. However, I personally think the strong seal is an advantage because it means it's unlikely to come open in your pocket. And the material itself seems to be of a high quality and well-assembled so it makes an attractive and durable pouch.
