I wrote to GM as some concerns about part number embossed on the rotors were not what was on label...packing was in generic brown than blue genuine part packing ... Shared pics etc details...they, GM, confirmed part is genuine...

Work as expected. Installed on a 2010 Chev Camaro V6Item is coated for rust resistance including pad contact surface. Coating rubs off the rotor contact surface after a few uses.I am pleased.

I purchased two of these AC Delco Original Equipment Front Disc Brake Rotors in December 2018 from the Amazon website, they were less expensive than any other source that I researched. The shipping cost was free and delivery was quick! The rotors are performing wonderfully! It's great to save money and get exactly what you want!

Thought it would be better quality. These rotors rusted almost instantly after the first rain. I have never seen that happen before so fast. The new Wanger brake pads have to grind the rust off when first starting out, not ok. The surface of the rotor has a Black tint to it now. These rotors were broken in properly, not used in a hard application,and is garaged. Its just a daily driver. I know I will not get the life out of these like the OEM that came off.

AC Delco Original Equipment rotors come with a zinc coating to inhibit rust. I researched many articles regarding this grey zinc coating and according to GM, the coating will wear off after normal braking and will not effect performance. These are outstanding rotors, a little more expensive than normal but much higher quality.
