My 2018 Volt basically stopped working, unable to switch between electric and gas mode. I fired up my OBD2 scanner, read the code, and Googled it. Lo and behold, there was a GM TSB on this exact issue, and this part would correct the problem, at least according to the TSB. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a difficult part to locate. Some suppliers even said it was discontinued, which would turn my car into a very large paperweight. Just when I was getting really mad at GM, the part popped up here on Amazon! I bought it, brought it to my expert mechanic, Ron at West County Auto Body And Repair, he installed it, and I'm back on the road! Whew! So naturally I must give this part five stars.

The hardest part was finding a mechanic to complete the task, it took me a minute. I have used a mobile mechanic from CL and it ended up costing $500. Please remember to clear the codes upon completion, otherwise, it would not except the charge.
