Where the 2 clips anchor to the opening: there are two thicknesses, use the thinnest for the anti wear pads and the clip location. Then you don't need mark with tape their locations as in the instructions.Also since the rubber points of the seal wedged up against the roof rack I trimmed them off a bit to allow water to flow by.Some people said they have trouble closing the hatch, I believe this is related to clip location. Anyway, no problems with my install.

Fits perfect. Looks great on my 2015 Subaru Forester. However, the brackets seem to interfere with the front piece that goes down when window closes. I personally know of other Forester owners having the same issue.I just hold it down while the window is closing. Problem solved.

The seller is great, and I got this item promptly without any problem. I don't like this thing because the idea of this sitting on the paint really bothers me and it's not easy to clean under it. I can only imagine how scratched my roof would be after a winter of road salt. While it's nice to have the visor on sunny days it's just not worth it to me.

Took a few minutes to install and I had to adjust the mounting position once but after that, it was great - does a good job of reducing the air noise when the sunroof is open.

It is indeed genuine Subaru.There is an issue with this. Look at the picture. The air dam is lower in front than back. Now imagine it's raining. Then it stops raining. You hop into the car. Hey, you think; the sun is shining. I'm going to open my sun roof!!Uh OH!!! Water pours into the car!!!The seal on the front is so tight, the air dam fills with water and you get soaked.Once I learned about this, I can look to see if there's water before hitting the open button. the seal is soft enough I can easily lift it to drain by standing next to the car and reaching across and sliding it up. A short person might not be able to do that though.BE WARNED!!
