This pant works, but the title is misleading. This is nothing but glorified high tech rain gear. I was lifetime military. These types of Gortex tops and bottoms are NON INSULATING hard outer shells meant to keep out rain and wind. They are quite roomy so you can wear warm layers underneath for anything colder than 40 degrees F.

Combined with the military style fleece bibs. To me they are the best cold weather pants available. When it’s warmer they are both comfortable and waterproof. Great for turkey hunting when the ground is wet or it’s wet getting thru the tall grass or leaves on the brush. I haven’t damaged a pair of this type from rough use yet.
