I have used Fluidmaster flappers for years and though I might try this Merouk toilet flapper valve because It was available to me to evaluate. It certainly installed easily as any and I like the bead chain that give you more finite adjustment, but unfortunately the real test is how long the valve continues to function and hopefully that will be years from now. I actually taped a note to the inside of the lid with date and seller info and will update this review if I get premature failure. Since I have several toilets, I replaced the valve in several of them with different brands to see if there is a difference over time. I will probably only update if they were to fail catistrophicly or prematurely.
