I live in a studio apartment, and I am all about storage. This set is vital for me to keep fluffy items organized and out of sight. This vacuum pump with storage bags is amazing. I have been keeping my blankets in under-bed storage units--3 of them to be exact. After putting all the contents of the three into one jumbo bag, and vacuuming all of the air out, I put the bag into one under bed storage. I now have two extra under bed storages with nothing in them! I have plenty to put in them later this week though. The space you gain is quite impressive. The bags that come with this vacuum are strong and durable. The function of the pump with the bags went perfectly. I do want to mention that this process is NOT so easy and the space you gain is NOT without effort. When I first put my items in the bag, then started the pump, i I heard air seeping through the plastic enclosure that bags have. This enclosure is thick, and it is NOT easy to get closed on your own. I had to try a few times before I got it right. Once you get it though, it becomes much easier. I highly recommend this product to anybody who is having trouble with space.

I was excited to get these, anticipating the many uses for saving space and packing winter bedding and clothes away. I was hoping these bags would be a bit more durable/thicker, but they're not. I vacuumed up a comforter in the large bag which was excellent size wise, however, in putting the bag into our blanket chess I slightly nicked the bag on the hardware of the chess which created a small hole rendering the bag useless. Maybe vacuum bags need to be thinner material to be effective, but these certainly feel vulnerable. So yes, these bags are a great size and work, but I find myself asking for how long, and anticipating at any moment the bags I packed away will be compromised.

Much better quality than some of the other vacuum storage bags I tried years ago! The material is thick and durable.I liked that this came in several sizes, including my extra thick sherpa comforter. I’m attaching a picture “before and after” so you can see how much space you can save using these bags. The electric pump worked well. It was powerful enough to quickly suck the air out, yet compact and lightweight, that it could be used to travel.The bags hold the air seal really well and so far hasn't decompressed. The closure mechanism is super easy to use—you can seal it just by pressing with your hands. It has helped give me back so much storage space. In the 4th picture, that entire shelf used to be just the comforter. Now I could easily fit 3 to 4 more on top of it.Note: if you are having troubles sucking air out of the bag, check the air seal. It has an open and close position. I think that may be why some others have complained how difficult it is. I did not realize myself first try. Once I opened the seal, the vacuum very quickly pulled the air out.

My linen closet has never had so much free space, thanks to this guy. It does an admirable job of reducing large fluffy things -- comforters, pillows, fluffy blankets, towel -- to considerably smaller versions of themselves. It's a snap to operate. Open one of the bags by pulling the seal at the top apart (with some care, of course), then cram your blanket or whatever into the bags making sure it's not interfering with the sliding seal mechanism. The slider will come all the way off of the bag pretty easily, but that's sort of a plus, because you want to make sure you slide it over every millimeter of the seal. It does a nice job of pulling the seal into place and locking. Follow the instructions to slide it back and forth three or four times, covering the entire seal, going so far as to run the slider off of the bag just to be sure. Then open the valve on the bag by twisting it to the left, plug in the pump, cover the valve, and turn it on. I found it helps a bit to put some pressure on the opposite side of the bag. If you're doing all those things right, the bag will deflate, deflate, deflate, until finally it's sucked as much air out as it can. Turn off the pump, remove it from the valve, close the valve by turning it to the right, and then put your ear down to the valve and then to seal to make sure no air is leaking out. I heard air leaking from the seal on a set of pillows, and so started the process over again, this time doing a better job of sealing the entire thing with the tool. It does its job pretty quickly, and doesn't make a racket doing it. It comes with ten bags in two sizes, one of the sizes pretty generous. I'm just delighted to have this thing!

Nice bags—work really well! I used them for storing bulky bedding and seasonal clothes, and they compressed everything down perfectly. The electric pump is super convenient and makes the process quick and easy—no more hand-pumping!The material feels thick and durable, and I love that they’re reusable. Plus, the clear design makes it easy to see what’s inside without opening them all. The double zipper and triple-seal valve really do the job—no air leaks so far.Great value for a 5-pack, and they’ve helped me reclaim a ton of space. Highly recommend!

These bags seemed a little thin, not sure how they will hold up over time. Otherwise these were a good size, helped me clean up a good sized linen closet. I wish the vacuum cord was a little longer and I also wish the vacuum seal was on the clear side of the bag. The vacuum had a small dial and could easily open up to let air in if slightly bumped, and I like to store clear side up to see what is in the box.

The bags are good - some of the nicer vacuum seal bags we have used in fact. The air pump is underwhelming; we just ended up using a vacuum cleaner. At under $3 a bag, including 5 jumbo bags, this is a decent value. All in all, we are happy with these.
