I bought my washer over 2 years ago an use it all the time. It is a lot more hands on than a standard washer but does just as good of job on cleaning. The spin dryer does an amazing job of getting most of the water out of the clothes. Which makes hang dry time less. If u have delicate clothing I would definitely use laundry bags to put those items in. I use them an the bra bags cause the washer puts in work for sure. It's pretty light weight easy to move around. The drain feature is something I like because u can get almost all the water out of the machine. An I just leave the top open to completely dry so no musty smell happens. I use lent catchers that float on top if the water an they work so well is impressive. The lint catcher in the washer doesn't really do anything but if u don't have some kind of lint catchers there will be lint all over ur clothes. Over all I'm completely in love with my tiny washer I way rather use it than go to the laundry mat. I recommend this washer to anyone looking for a washer solution. It's easy to use very self explanatory an does an amazing job!!

I purchased this in April and it worked great, it was super helpful living in an apartment. But now I’m July less than 3 months later the pump gave out. It no longer drains. It’s out of the return or support window so just beware it may not last long. For the amount of money I paid I expected it to hold up a lot longer.

I had seen some videos about portable washers previously but didn't know much about them. I read so many reviews before deciding to try one out and I wanted to use mine for a few months before leaving a review in the hopes that it helps someone else.I live in an apartment with coin laundry and was getting tired of paying to use a washer that I have never seen property management clean, waiting when my neighbours forgot their laundry in the machines overnight, going to the bank to get coins, and lugging laundry in and out of my apartment. I was skeptical about a portable washer at first because it's more interactive than a typical washer where you throw clothes in, take them out. Regardless, I love this washer. I do have the luxury of working from home a couple days a week. I put the washer in the bathroom beside my home office so I like to do my laundry on my work from home days. What I do:- I keep the washer in the shower although I might move it eventually. This way I can lay the drain hose down in the shower. I found out the fun way that if you drain into a sink it won't fully drain so if the hose falls, some water comes out. I fill the washer with the shower head, put in laundry soap, oxyclean, and fabric softener while it fills. For a full load, I use a small-medium amount of laundry soap. I wash my partner's work clothes and use closer to medium for that, otherwise a small amount.- After adding the detergent, I add clothes. Other reviews said not to overload the machine and I agree. I fill the washer halfway to 2/3rds with laundry and make sure the water covers the clothes.- When full, wash. I use 10-15 mins depending on how dirty the clothes are and how much I've put in- Then drain the soapy water out, refill with water for a rinse. I do 5-9 minutes rinse. You can hook up a water hose from a faucet to the spin tub and rinse in the spin tub as well.- Move clothes into the spin tub and I spin for 3-4 minutes. You need to make sure the spin tub is 1) full or almost full, and 2) balanced. Otherwise it will thump around and make noise. It if thumps, just turn the dial to 0 and it'll stop and readjust the clothes in the bin. Some overall thoughts: I like how I can wash small loads. Using the apartment laundry I would wait until I had a full load to justify the cost. But now, cat threw up on something? I'll throw it in the laundry and I didn't just spend a couple bucks washing one small blanket. I got some laundry bags and sometimes I'll use those as the clothes get tangled in the wash bin and my least favourite part is untangling the wet clothes. You can soak things in the wash bin and then turn the machine on later to wash it out. It is more interactive (fill, load, drain, fill for rinse, drain, move in batches to spin, hang up) but I don't really mind and it's easy. I find it weirdly satisfying to watch the clothes spin around in the wash tub so that's maybe just me. When I first unboxed it I thought the spin tub was a literal joke, it's so small! It's deceptive, it can hold more than it looks like it can. I usually spin two pairs of pants, a shirt, and some socks and underwear in a load. I fit a queen size throw in it once but it was a squeeze.Edit: I’ve been using this machine for over a year now and wanted to edit with a few more things I’ve learned.First, I now put fabric softener in with the rinse load instead of with the detergent on the first fill. I had never used fabric softener before so that was my mistake. You can definitely skip using it though if you don’t want to.Second, the filter. Like other reviewers said, the filter doesn’t really catch anything. I have fish tanks and I cut up an aqua clear 20 sponge (like $3 at the pet store) and put that in the filter and it catches things now. I replace this about once a month.Third, if I think I’m not using enough detergent, I’m still using too much. I keep slowly reducing the amount of detergent and clothes are still coming out perfectly clean. I use a little less than the 1 line of liquid detergent and a scoop of oxyclean that barely covers the bottom of the scoop.Overall, I have had 0 issues with the machine in the last year and I now don’t hate doing laundry. It has definitely saved me money in the long run and once I got into the hang of it, it’s become a habit and I don’t find it time consuming (I still work mostly from home so I just take a couple minutes break to switch a load over).

Truly, this Giantex Portable Washer, has to be the best investment I've made this year. My financial circumstances this year deteriorated and I was in a phase where I had to cut corners to stretch my dollar and this included trying to stay home more to use less gas on my car and identifying where I can save money. For several months I was visiting my local laundry mat while attempting to find a solution to cut back on the cost of washing clothes and eventually, this washer came my way and in mid-October, I bought my portable washer.Along with the portable washer, I purchased a rack with wheels and placed two beach towels on the rack before mounting the washer. I also used pool noodles and zip-tied them on the rods of the rack to ensure the washer was centered and to minimize the vibration noise. I even purchased a drying rack from Walmart to complete my at home laundry mat.I am truly grateful for this portable washer. There is manual labor involved as I push the rack to the kitchen in my one bedroom apartment to use the attachable hose the sink has to fill my washer with water and then push it back to the bathroom to leave the drain hose inside the bathtub. It roughly takes eight minutes to fill up the washer with water to the top tier it is recommended by the instruction manual and I noticed it is best suited for me to wash clothes every three to four days since this washer is small and every time, I wash my clothes in two loads.
I normally wash two pairs of scrubs (pants and shirts) with two pairs of socks, two pair of underwear, and two t-shirts I wear underneath my scrub shirt in one go before moving on to a second load. If I had to complain anywhere, it would be the spin cycle compartment. It is much smaller than the washer. However, although it is small, it is powerful. I fill up the spin cycle halfway and leave it on for two minutes and every time you can see a lot of water being drained. The garments are lightly wet but never soaking wet. From there I use my drying rack to let the clothes air dry and if I have a lot of shirts, I use hangers and hang them on the border of the door in my closet and after four hours, all my items have air dried inside my apartment and are ready to fold. The best part of this is how strong the aroma of laundry detergent is and fills the whole apartment with a clean smell. I love leaving my clothes drying over night as when I come back from work and open the door, I smell the aroma of detergent.I can agree with everyone. This review is incredibly long. But for those who read this far, I promise, five stars is an understatement. For two months I’ve used this washer successfully in my second floor apartment and I haven’t received any complains on any noise level. I do have to credit the towels I placed under the washer and the bathroom rug I leave the rack onto to minimize any noise. It is involve a lot of manual labor pushing and pulling the washer from the closet where I leave it stationed to the kitchen and bathroom twice sever three to four days as I wash my clothes. However, for two months, I’ve cut back on spending money at the laundry mat and the need to use my car/ gas. Long term, this investment will payoff and if I am correct, after the tenth month, my laundry needs will be free at home with the exception of having to go once a month to wash blankets/ pillows. If you are considering this washer, don’t consider any longer. Buy it. You won’t regret it. It’ll save you money if you’re in a tight situation or if a laundry mat is inaccessible. Even if you’re living in a second floor or third floor apartment, this washer will payoff as you won’t be carrying any heave hampers between floors.

Used exclusively at our trailer, it worked amazing. I could lift it in and out myself without any issues. The hoses are a bit stiff but as long as you can leave level and drain beneath the machine (into tub drain or off the deck) it’s perfect. The filter clip doesn’t actually filter anything but I suppose you could put a cloth in to catch any debris but we just rinsed well and it worked well.

Je n'aime pas la machine du tout. Elle fonctionne très mal et le genre de sécheuse mène un bruit assez fort et fait bouger toute laveuse sécheuse. J'avais demander un remboursement ou je vais jeter ça au poubelle.

This thing does look like a toy straight out of the box. And the instruction manual isn't all that helpful - aside from the terrible translation. That being said, I have run 4 loads through it yesterday and today, and so far, I really like it a lot! I'll have to see how it holds up under many more loads, and if needed, I will change the 5 star review in the future. But right now, I'm very happy I bought this. We recently moved to a "tiny home" with no piped water, but we do have electricity. I do have other ways to do laundry manually, but wringing the water out before hanging to dry has always been a big issue. So I thought I'd give this a try.As another reviewer said, I fill up water jugs (or you can just use a bucket) to empty into the washer tub. Depending on your load, you can set the washer time up to 15 minutes and either "normal" or "gentle" cycle. I got the 26 pound size, which is actually 18 pounds for the washer and 8 pounds for the spinner (it is NOT A DRYER!!!). I've done 2 king size flats sheets and 2 king size pillow cases in one wash load. I really doubt it would accomodate a king size blanket, unless it was very thin, and I am not going to attempt it. Smaller size blankets may be ok. I also did 5 bath towels (full size, not hand towels) in one wash load and could probably have gotten a 6th one in.Usually I put the laundry in and then add water to cover. Just to try it, one time I did put the water in first, and it took about 8 to 9 gallons up to the "medium" level. BE CAREFUL NOT TO PUT TOO MUCH DETERGENT IN. I accidentally did with my towel load. Even after 2 rinses, there were still a lot of suds. But wait, there is no rinse cycle on the machine. Correct, I just ran it through 2 more wash cycles without adding any more detergent. While so far I have run all wash cycles at 15 minutes, for a "rinse" cycle I usually choose less time. I do have to drain the water between wash and rinse cycles. While the wash cycle and spin cycle will automatically stop after the chosen time, you must turn off the drain cycle when the tub is empty. Since the spin side is much smaller than the wash side, depending on the size of the load, you will need to divvy up the washed clothes into different spin cycles. For instance, in my king size sheet load, I did one sheet and one pillowcase per spin cycle. For my towel load, I did three towels and then two towels. I was acutally pretty impressed with how much moisture the spin cycle extrudes in 5 minutes, even with the towels. You will still have to hang the laundry to dry, but it should take much less time. Be aware, the machine may "walk" during the spin cycle. One thing the manual really doesn't say is what the flat white disc not attached to anything is for. You put that on top of the load in the spinner before closing the spinner lid.I wouldn't use this anywhere you do not want the floor to get wet; it wasn't like a flood, but there were definitely wet spots. Also, when I am finished using, I leave the lids up on both sides to let them air dry. We have 5 large dogs, so a lot of dog hair on everything. I usually just run my hand around the inside of the wash tub to get the hair out. There is a filter you can take out and open up to empty, again no instructions on this in the manual. If the tub looks dirty, I put just a little water in and do a 3 minute wash cycle then drain. The more you use it, the more tips and tricks you will figure out. Right now, I have my machine sitting on a covered front porch, as there is no room in our tiny house for it. That means I will not be able to use it when temps get down to freezing. I'm sure I will miss it this winter!

We had a Danby washer spin dryer for years and it worked fine . We had to finally replace it and could not find a washer spin dryer in any store . Thankfully we found this unit on your web site. So far so good. It is a lot lighter than our old unit but seems to perform just as well. Glad we found it.
