I love that the memory lock features a wing nut. This stand is very solid, but folds compactly. Probably the best value in a 2-leg hi hat stand on the market.

Bought stand for my husband and it showed 1 in stock when purchased. When I printed the final invoice later the price had increased from the original listing. Lesson learned, print out an invoice immediately or take a picture of the listing. This can be a problem when ordering on a smart phone and when trying to do such as a gift.

I bought this hi-hat stand and it has served me without fail for almost 5 years. Recently, to me surprise, the plastic tube attached to the plastic cup snapped while playing very normally. I contacted G and since I am within 5 years they are helping me - hopefully. I will update if not. This stand is built like a tank, but a bit disappointed, since I thought G products came with a lifetime warranty.

Couldn't hold up my high hats, extreme amounts of sag. I have never used a stand with this little amount of spring tension. Unfortunate because the rest of the stand is great quality, but the one thing that really matters in a quality stand is the spring tension...

Very nice and heavy duty, but can’t tell a lot of difference in the step up tension adjustment. Also no instructions.
