My mailbox has been just outside my front door for six years. It still looks new, no fading. It holds all my junk mail along with multiple small packages.If there is a hard rain with heavy winds, water can get inside but not enough to ruin anything.Altogether a good purchase.

I've had this mailbox for 1.5 years & it's held up well against the midwest's crazy weather! It's a good sized mailbox. Very easy to put up onto siding. The material of the mailbox allows for stickers to be put onto it.

The finish is nice, and it looks good. The right size for our modest home. And, it will contain magazines, etc. with the lid closed to keep them dry. And, if we are away when our mail is delivered, we won't have anything sticking out to advertise that we're not home - at least like our former mail box did!If there is something we dislike, it is how noisy it is shutting the lid. I was able to put some Gorilla (Black) Tape (2" wide) under the "lid" and on the back of the mailbox, which has dampened some of the metallic noise it was subject to when opening and closing without affecting its appearance.Big enough to handle small packages, but not so big it looks unattractive.

This style is perfect for my front porch. I did not install the mailbox, because I am fearful to drill holes in the brick. My mail carrier said the mailbox would be fine sitting on a TV table. A tacky glue strip keeps the mailbox from slipping on the table.

I am using this on the wall outside my back door for a couple of gardening hand tools and some slip-on sandals. This way I can pop outside to deadhead some plants or remove a few weeds with no inconvenience whatever. It looks really nice and almost blends into the wall, which is a similar color. I chose to buy Used Like New so I got a very good price on it.

Was looking for a larger white mailbox that was NOT plastic. So excited to find this one! Husband installed it easily. Has withstood one cold prairie winter already. Newspaper fits completely inside it. Just remember to feel right to the bottom as white envelopes blend in.

I really liked this "as new" off-white mail box. I saved money and it really does look new. I had my old black mailbox for about 35 years. It was very solid, but was also a little smaller in size. Current ones are a thinner material, a tiny bit flexible....which doesnt actually bother me. I love it that this is a very roomy mailbox; my bubble packages from Amazon fit better in the alloted space. I do miss the newspaper holder. I didnt think I would, since I do not subscribe to any newspaper. However, I always hung my purse on it, while unlocking my door when my arms held a couple bags of groceries. But I knew it had no paper holder when I ordered it, so this has nothing to do with the quality of the mailbox. I would buy it again.

- I have a small mailbox that couldn't hold newspapers, phone books and small packages and the delivery couriers just dump everything on the ground by the door. Not good when its windy, raining or snowing.- So I did some research and decided on this one.- Good size but not huge.- Easy to install.- Solid steel construction- Looks as advertised- Cheap.- I liked it so much I bought one for my neighbor and she loves it as well.- I installed my mailbox by my front door which is under the roof and not exposed to all of the elements, besides wind and sun.

We ordered the Solar mailbox through Amazon after reading the great online reviews, and we're very, very happy with it already! We placed our order two days ago, received the mailbox today via two-day Amazon Prime delivery, and immediately took our old mailbox off and mounted this one in less than 10 minutes. Ours came with a cut-out template on the back of the box, so be sure to look for it if you think you might need it (although we didn't). The screws were included, but having read many reviews stating they were too small, we didn't bother with them and instead used larger ones. We purchased the white mailbox to go with our house. It's very sturdy, came with no flaws or dents, and was extremely well-packaged inside 3 boxes with bubble wrap. It's large, but it's perfect for us and looks great on our rambler! The mailbox has plenty of room for magazines and manila envelopes and/or small packages. We order things online fairly often, so I think our mail carrier will be pleased when he sees it tomorrow! It's a good quality mailbox; I can't imagine having any problems with it, but if we do, I'll be sure to update my review. The lid doesn't stay open when getting the mail out, but I'm fine with that since my husband used to always leave the old lid open after taking the mail out (which kind of bugged me with my OCD personality). We do have a covered porch, but I don't see how rain could get in even without a covering. It looks as pictured online and is just what we wanted...a mailbox larger than our old one but simple looking and made to last. It's priced right for the quality, and it could easily be painted years down the road if needed...and I do think it'll give us years of use. We'd been looking for a replacement mailbox for quite awhile but couldn't find anything we liked at the big box stores and are extremely happy we found this one online!
