Worked as expected. One reviewer said they couldn't get the toms as close as they wanted. This was NOT my experience. I have a 10 & a 12 on this mount and the drums can touch each other, no problem. I like the additional reciever in the back for mounting my splash cymbal.

Works very well for my PDP Concept Maple kit. I moved my two largest rack toms onto the kick mount with this holder. Fits great. And used two leftover Mapex tom L-balls to mount toms. They also worked great.

Gibraltar makes good hardware. I've got a bunch of their stuff. Just remember- this is NOT a bass drum mounted holder, which are generally about 1.25" in diameter. This item is for mounting in cymbal/tom stand bases. I bought this to use in an older Pearl tripod base that I had lying around, which accepts tubing of 1" diameter. The Gibraltar fits perfectly. You can add any resin ball L-rods, and Gibraltar makes a bunch of those as well.
