My son is obsessed with this toy. The remote and the toy is very sturdy and durable. It run great on carpet, hard floors, grass, concrete. I haven't found a flaw with it yet. He was absolutely thrilled by this tractor. And he is almost 4 and is able to use it all by himself. It's perfect for younger children who are just starting out with the review controlled vehicles.

Nice lights and look. However, the hook that attaches trailer ( with logs) to the tractor, broke on the very first day. It was handled only by adult at that point. Our grandson was very disappointed.

I got this for the little guy I babysit. He loves farming toy. He got a big kick out of this remote control trackor. He's three the remote control was easy enough for him to control. This is a great toy for a farm lover kid.

Here on the farm we harvest a lot of timber. Besides cutting down trees, we use the tractor and wagon to haul logs up to our sawmill. This RC set (almost identical to our "real life" set-up)makes it easy for my 3 year-old grandson, who also live on the farm, to pretend to do what he sees dad and granddad do. In the Winter, that outside activity slows down but, inside, my grandson keeps working, inside. He loves this set.I was doubtful at first, but it only took him minutes to figure out the controller and quickly learned to move, turn, and back up a trailer; a useful skill that last a lifetime.Assembly instructions are located on the bottom of the box. I would recommend to unpackage and assemble before gifting. You will need to obtain 2 AA batteries(not included) for the controller. The tractor rechargeable comes fully charged and includes both a tiny screwdriver and a USB charging cable. (You must unscrew the motor shroud and remove the battery to charge).Hooking the trailer to the tractor is well designed but requires an adult to connect.Operation of the controls is very simple, my three-year old grandson figured it out pretty quickly.Most of this set is made out of quality heavy duty plastic. The detail is amazing. The lights (two in the cab and two in the front are bright, although the front lights only come on in the forward position).The quality was better than expected.
