The game is smaller than it looks in the ads, but still big enough to be comfortable in the hands and easy to control. It's a challenging game that gives you a limited number of attempts to solve a color sequence. There are many levels (supposedly 600), each increasing in difficulty. The game can be played solo or with two players. There is an easy and a difficult mode. The device seems to be sturdy and of good quality. It's not rechargeable. It operates on two AAA batteries, which are not included. The game just arrived this morning, and I've been figuring out how to use it. I already find it to be somewhat addictive. It will be great for entertaining the grandkids on car rides. I do recommend this game.

I'm 69 and I love this game! The hard mode is my favorite...very challenging! The levels are superb. I know you can get a Mastermind game on your phone, but there's something very likeable about having a dedicated unit like this instead. I play it every night before going to sleep and it never fails to satisfy. It's very unique. It's a joy to look at and well-designed. Worth every penny even if it does seem a bit pricey.

Kids love this, play it almost every day.Once you figure it out. It becomes quite easy. I think for a second version add 1 or 2 more slots. And at least allow for when you create your own code, you can use a color more than once. Maybe indicate a color to having more than one slot by having it light up a separate color underneath (rather than green). I feel like more features could be incorporated in order to make it a little harder and keep interest going as either kids figure out this, or as they get older. Having a separate difficulty level optionEither way, been a week and kids still love it
