I have three Gili paddleboards and bought a river fin for each! Definitely a must have for shallow water. Can never go wrong with any Gili items!

Love the fin, got what was expected. I had bought another type of river fin prior and it was a soft plastic which would bend. It is rare that the fin will hit the bottom but the scraping of the fin is better on the softer plastic or rubber type.The fin operates under expectation of a river fin, for those that have paddled on shallow rivers with a paddle board.

Took a chance on this because the measurements lined up with those on the snap fin mounts on my iRocker Blackfin XL. This was to replace the dolphin fin that comes with the board for better tracking.Dolphin fins are designed for a mix of tracking versus maneuverability but I wanted better straight-tracking performance for longer, faster paddling. While touring fins like this theoretically have less sharp turning maneuverability, I didn't notice any difference from my dolphin fin, so this was a great upgrade.

After finangling with the slot that holds the lever to keep the fin down, it fits. However, this is so snug that the slot would need to be screwed and unscrewed every single use. The fin itself works, but what's the point of selling a product the fits so snug for an inflatable paddle board that needs to have extra time put in for it to actually work/fit correctly?

Gili has bad batches of fins, I had to another one of their fins and trim it down on the belt sander for it to fit.. Sadly they know this is a problem..
