I like these very much. They are super shiny and lovely in their Scandinavian-type shape, which is what I've been searching for. I love the fact that the spoons nest together to save space. They are very nice quality, solid, not so heavy that it bugs me. Others have complained about their small size. I find only the salad forks to be a little bit small (narrow), and I don't use them anyway, so no problem for my situation. I wash them by hand, so have no knowledge of performance in other situations. My detergent seems to leave spots on the shiny finish, so I tend to dry them a little extra before storage. Through Warehouse Deals, I got them for an incredible price, about 60% of the normal Amazon price, which was in turn, wayyy less than their price on big department store sites. They came individually wrapped in plastic sleeves, in a replacement box, which was absolutely fine.

unique design, comfortable fit - yes the back is curved out, i have another set that has the full rounded out handle and even though i like hefty silverware some of my guests do not and this is a swanky compromise that i like a lot

Bought this as a Christmas gift. Loved the spoons and how they have more of a bowl than most. Was very excited as the picture looked like the handles were round. Really wanted that type of product. We opened them and they are flat. As a gift we will have to keep them but will not order silverware or anything by going off the picture again

Great product - sweet style, although a bit small with the forks. . .it helps to eat slower and helps one take smaller food portions, although if you have a man who likes to have a full fork of food to put in their mouth. . .I'd maybe consider another style. . .yet I think I am liking how it help my husband and myself to slow down and take smaller bites - I'm thinking then our stomachs can catch-up to knowing when we are full, helping to not over eat. Beautifully made and great weight along with comfort in the hand.

This is an AMAZING set. They ARE solid but with a (thick) and heavy flat (but curved!) handle. They are weighted. Love the modern design of the fork. It has a 'scoop'/spoon shape to the fork and shorter prongs which makes it EASIER to pick up rice in my opinion. Food will pile upward on the fork like a "heaping teaspoon". But if you're wanting to shovel as much food in your face as possible....maybe this set isn't for you. Bonus: NO "baby" salad forks/soup spoons!! They are actually regular size!!But I found them to be ultra high quality, very heavy, beautiful shiny mirror finish....modern, elegant, perfect.

They are even more beautiful in person and feel incredibly premium to hold. I was initially uncomfortable with spending so much on a flatware set but after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a go and was incredibly satisfied!Pros:-Super nice to hold-Has a modern aesthetic, the thin fork is great for smaller mouths and looks high end-Holds up in the dishwasher as if you first bought them, I have only had them for a few weeks but I wash them everyday and they still look and feel brand new.Cons-So shiny that it will show finger prints in a lot of light, but I guess that's what you get for getting such a gorgeous high gloss set!

They are beautiful. I like them. The thing I don't like is that the are smaller prong wise than a normal flatware but the handle I'd normal size.

I ordered this set months ago and use them every day. My knives, forks, spoons go through the dishwasher daily, sometimes some sit overnight and food gets really stuck on (think petrified mashed or scalloped potatoes, muffin batter, etc), have been used to scrape pots, have been dropped on the floor, accidentally put through a vinegar rinse in the dishwasher, accidentally gone through the dishwasher for about a month before I realized the dishwasher was out of Jet Dry (and the water here is hard and leaves scales on most things), but these beauties look as polished and perfect as the day I first unwrapped them. I admit, my place is pet-free and child-free, but accident-prone and sometimes forgetful lady bachelors can be very hard on household items too. It's a shame the seller shipped them wrapped only in thin plastic wrap though, and one serving spoon arrived with a deep scratch in it.. the packaging looks like crahp, and this flatware set deserves better. This flatware replaced my so-called "quality" flatware from Stokes and Ikea that looked like hell after less than a dozen uses/washes (both stores repeatedly contradicted their advice/excuses and refused to replace or refund my money). I Really like the look (the design, the weight, the shinyness) of this "Charlie" flatware. I like the fact the knives are just sharp enough, but not "Omg! Help me find my finger!" sharp. However.. the fork tines are extremely sharp! I've accidentally maimed myself with the forks several times, including a couple of very deep punctures in my lip (hey, You try eating and playing Skyrim at the same time! :p ) and a fork that stuck in the top of my foot for several seconds before falling off, so I imagine a toddler or young kid could do some real damage with one of these forks. My nearest and dearest likes this set so much, I plan to buy her a set.

Replaced our old silverware with this 8 place setting. Love the simple design!Updating post. After having this silverware several months I have an update! The spoons are perfect! They work like a spoon should. They are the perfect shape and size in order to spoon items into your mouth. The knives - great! They cut like you'd want them too. Now the forks. These are the worst forks I've ever used besides plasticware. Well that's not fair, most plasticware can hold food on them and get the food into your mouth. If you buy this silverware I don't advise ever cooking rice again. I also recommend not making anything finely chopped. I now use the knife and fork to cut my food and the spoon to eat my food. Seriously - the forks hold barely a 1/2 tsp of food! The silverware is also rusting. So to wrap it up:1. Love the design.2. Hate the forks.3. Hate the rust.4. Love the spoons and knives minus the rust.

The set came individually wrapped inside a brown box. They are solid. They have a bit of heft to them which is good. They have not shown any signs of staining or rust. I have had them almost a month now. They clean up really nice. They are polished to a mirror finish. My only quirk comment is the way the forks look. They almost look out of place or some weird modern styling. But they function perfectly fine and you don't notice the design when eating with them. All of the utensils have an extra long handle. But I think that helps balance when using. To attest to the strength of the utensils, my girlfriend picked one of the smaller spoons out of the drawer and proceeded to scoop ice cream from the carton directly out of the freezer and they didn't bend of flex at all. Well worth the extra $$ over a cheap set that might rust or bend or have junk metal.

I got these as a house-warming gift for a friend of mine who is a first-time home buyer. I know that flatware is a very personal kind of thing (I may love it but you may hate it) so I wasn't sure the gift would be well received. They truly loved it. They particularly liked the heft (nicely solid) and sleekness (for those of us with a bit of the magpie gene) as well as the unique design of the forks. This set is one of those that is just a tiny bit bigger than the norm out there and that was appreciated as well. I saw that one reviewer noted that each utensil was in it's own wrapping - this one wasn't. The knives were in one bag, as were each kind of the forks and spoons - 5 bags in all. I am well pleased with this purchase and would definitely consider it as a gift in the future.
