It shrinked after 3 washes. It has an odor so my niece cannot wear it for a while. It took me 3 washes fir her to wear it. By that time it shranked already and not comfortable to wear. So order a bigger size. It is warm according to my niece

The sweater is absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship is great and the knitting is a nice tight weave.The issue is in the thickness and the sizing. It is extremely thick, which would work great in really cold weather. But because it is a short sleeve sweater, one would think it would not be as thick since you generally don’t wear short sleeves like this in really cold weather.The thickness also lends to a bulky feeling. It is very soft and buttery next to the skin but it’s so thick it just bulks up.Also, it’s too large. I compared measurements of my child with the size chart provided and ordered accordingly. And it just seemed a size too big.

I am pleasantly surprised by this top. It seems to be well made, it is soft and warm, and it fits my child as expected. The thickness of the top is perfect for layering under a cardigan or vest, or could definitely be worn alone on cooler days. I imagine this will become a staple in her wardrobe for this winter.
