My daughter usually only wants to wear skirts and dresses. I got these shorts for her thinking that she would like them because they look a little like a skirt. She absolutely loves them! They so pretty and sparkly. The material is soft and comfortable on her skin. It fits her true to size as well.

My almost 6 year old granddaughter's favorite color is "rainbow" so of course I had to get this adorable yet practical skort/butterfly shorts for her. The colors are really vibrant; the fabric is that kinda slippery polyester that feels similar to swimsuit fabric. It washed up great in warm water and tumble dried using the permanent press (medium high) temperature and there was no shrinkage or pilling.

My daughter absolutely loves these shorts. The style and colors are so fun and they go with so many tops. She loves the flowy style and built in shorts underneath. The material is breathable and soft which makes playing in them all day really comfortable. The fit is perfect and runs true to size. The material is well made and washes easily which I appreciate as a parent. These shorts are absolutely perfect for active kids. They're stylish, cute, and the price is worth it.

I’d post a picture, but my 7-year-old is literally at school wearing them right now—that’s how much she loves these! The sparkle and flowyness is adorable, and they are both cute and practical.I was a little worried about how they’d hold up in the wash, but they’ve washed great so far with no fading or pilling. She wears them for everything from school to gymnastics. We’ll definitely be ordering more!Perfect mix of preppy, comfy, and fun for active girls!

I got these for my 10 year old daughter. She is about 5'2" and slender. She is tall for her age so I usually always size up to help accommodate length. With that being said I got these sparkle butterfly shorts in size 13-14 for her. These fit her pretty well. I would have liked for them to be a tad bit longer and a little bit more flowy but for the most part they fit as expected.My daughter absolutely loves the sparkle that this fabric has. It shimmers and looks different colors when the fabric moves. I was pleasantly surprised that the sparkle fabric is soft and smooth. I was hoping it would be but you just never know. The shorts underneath are also made of a soft comfortable fabric. They provide a snug fit, stay in place, and provide nice coverage. They also have a functional drawstring to help adjust sizing around the waist.These are absolutely perfect for any active little girl. They are comfortable, flowy, and provide great coverage. My daughter loves this style of shorts because of how comfortable they are. These are a must have for us. I would recommend these butterfly shorts based on comfort, appearance, and price.

We loved these butterfly shorts for my 8-year-old! She says they’re super comfortable and loves how they swing when she moves. I really like that they have built-in shorts underneath, which makes them great for active play and gym time. The sparkle design is adorable too.I ordered size 9-10 since she’s a bit tall, and they fit nicely with some room to grow. They’re also long enough to be school-appropriate, which is a big plus. The only thing to keep in mind is that they run a little big, so sizing down might help for a better fit. Overall, they’re a great buy for the price!

I’m reviewing the 'Girls Butterfly Shorts Sparkle Flowy Athletic Shorts for Girls Gym Skorts 2-in-1 Skirt for Kids Preppy Clothes' in the pink color, size 14-16. Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised. My daughter is 9 years old, 4' 8.5", and about 83lbs.According to the tag, this garment is 92% polyester, 8% elastane, and made in China.Pros:-Looks just as advertised, possibly better-Pretty metallic rainbow spotted pattern on outer layer, nice vibrant light pink layer underneath-Material is pretty soft, very stretchy (like typical athletic wear)-Waist band is also super strechy and has a drawstring-Construction looks good on inspection with no loose threads or improper stitching noted-The design is really quite cute and resembles a skirt which my daughter loves-Two hidden pockets to the under short layer that are large enough to be functionalCons:-Tag states "wash separately, professional hand clean recommended." I'm sure it will be fine. I'm not going to hand wash it, but will air dry only and see how it holds up.-My daughter says it fits fine, but I honestly had envisioned that it might be a little larger like some of her other size 14/16 clothes so that she could grow into it even more. It is very stretchy so that helps, but I would have prefered larger and looser at the waist and to use the drawstrings to tighten. (The drawstrings might as well be for decoration in our case) As you can see, the waistband stretches even more while she is wearing it, so this really isn’t a problem, just a preference.Overall, my daughter loves and so I recommend this skort, and the "cons" listed aren't a very big deal. I would buy it again at the price listed at time of review since I feel it is a good value. It seems to be one of her favorite clothes items already. I will update this review if any issues arise with washing and wearing.
