I bought this hat for an Iceland trip. My ears were nice and toasty. I loved the baseball cap design. It rains a lot in Iceland. So it kept the rain off of my face. It is totally waterproof and very warm. It was very windy in Iceland as well so this was a perfect hat to buy. I'm very happy with my purchase!

There is nothing not to love about this hat. So warm. The flaps fit closely to the face. I use the strap to hold them on my cheeks, which is exactly what I wanted. Added bonus - because it has a bill in front, when I wear the hat on my coat, it doesn't fall down over my eyes.I've been wearing this hat for the whole season, and it still looks brand new. The lining is very soft. The flaps are lined, as well, so it feels nice on the face.I love this hat!

I bought this for my wife. The "RED" color is more burgundy than red. The D-Ring that is used to secure the ear flaps is basically useless, my wife hates the D-Ring but likes the warm lining. I'll be replacing the D-Ring with a plastic clip connector.

I like this hat first off. I am rating 4 stars. I have a hard time getting baseball style hats to fit. The size measurements led me to believe this would fit and it does; however, the hat is just a bit puffy up top for me. Is that a problem, no, just as always hoping to find that perfect fitting hat, that no hat has lived up to for me so far.The hat is insanely soft on the inner material that touches your head, cheeks, and chin. Wow, 5 stars for that! The bill of the hat does not come shaped, so if you like your bill rolled, then you will need to shape it. That's what I did. I think let it sit for about 3 days with bill shaper device and afterwards it was nicely shaped. I briefly wore it around the house, as it has been too warm to wear outside this year. But it looked much better and when wearing winter coats and gloves, this hat is going to blend right it, not too bulky or even unshapely.The chin strap I found to be the thing I did not like about it. While it is functional, I would have rather opted for a button snap or possibly velcro. Though they may not offer the flexibility in individual user adjustments, the chin strap was just a bit tiresome to get slipped through and took longer than I wanted to take off. Mind you, it cinched down tight like I wanted which was great.Overall, I am rating 4 stars. I like this hat a lot and look forward to walking my dogs in temperatures in the 30's or colder. I don't like wearing hats or ear warmers, but this is something I will wear that keeps my ears warm and really useful for windy days. Lastly, I picked black thinking it would go better with different colors, but wished I would have opted for the grey.

My favorite style of hat is a baseball cap because it can shield my eyes and head from the sun while also giving me a break on Bad Hair Days. For cooler weather, I have tried different types of beanies without success. I can never get them to stay on my head properly because I want the sides low enough to cover my ears from the wind. I end up stretching them out of shape. I have also tried wearing regular baseball caps with earmuffs, but my head stays cold with that combination.I have tried a trapper-style hat like this before, but it had a flat front. This baseball-cap style seemed perfect, and it IS. The outside of the hat is and 40% wool, 60% polyester blend that feels like a very soft wool. The bill of the cap is very rigid, as if there is plastic, not cardboard, inside. I have not tried to shape it, as it is already curved nicely. It keeps the sun out of my eyes! There is a chin strap with D-rings on the side in case you need extra warmth on your neck.But the star of this hat is the faux fur inside. The label says it is 100% polyester - it is super soft like those minky blankets. It adds the perfect amount of warmth to this hat. It also lines the ear flaps and feels so luxurious next to your ears while it blocks out the wind. The flaps fold up and you can secure them on top of the hat with the strap if you want to wear it as a regular baseball cap.

It was such a pleasant surprise to discover that this hat is even nicer in person. The quality is great, so I expect that this cap will last through many winters. It’s so well constructed and comfortable, and the materials are super nice. The best surprise was about the faux fur on the inside of the hat. It is so incredibly soft. I know it’s fake, but it feels soft as rabbit fur. So you get a warm, comfortable winter cap that feels wonderful to wear. The hat sits nicely when it’s on, and it’s easy to use the sturdy buckle to cinch it to the desired fit, however loose or tight it needs to be.I like everything about this cap, but there is one small thing that would make it perfect. Because this is a baseball style cap, I mistakenly presumed that there would be an opening in the back like there is on regular baseball caps. I have very long hair, and I wear ball caps pretty much every day. The opening in the back of baseball caps allows me to pull my ponytail comfortably through the hole so that the cap is more comfortable to wear. I was expecting to be wear my ponytail with this cap, too, but with no hole at the nape of the neck, I can’t do that. Of course I can wear my hair down or in a very low ponytail with this cap, but that’s not how I like to wear hats like this. Upon further reflection, it would not really be logical to have a hole in the back of a winter hat like this since you would lose heat through that hole. So I will have to wear my hair differently with this cap, or I will let my father wear it instead. He’s bald, so I think he would especially appreciate the warmth of this hat.I highly recommend this great quality hat to everyone who needs warm and comfortable headwear!
