replacing a broken top case, like for like. this Givi case is well built and easy to change the lock to retain one key operation for my motorcycle side cases and now new top case. big enough to hold a full face helmet, maybe two at a squeeze.

My Givi Maxxia had come off the back of the bike when the tongue on the rack came loose. This was the replacement and I'm happy. I couldn't get two helmets in it, but mine is an XXL, you'd probably get two smaller helmets in. This thing is big and swallows gear.

I had never used a GIVI product so I was hesitant to order. The price seemed too good to be true. The case arrived and I am happy to say it is built well and attaches to the Monokey bracket with ease. It looks nice on the bike and is a great value compared to the OEM case. One thing GIVI could do to make it easier to add a backrest is mold hole locations into the flange on the lid. They do this for the optional top rack but not the back rest.

This is a game changer to my motorcycle commuting. No more fussing with straps and bungies...pop it open, fill it, lock it and be on the way. At my destination, my helmet and jacket fit in, saving me from lugging gear around. I can fit a load of groceries in there too! It's very simple to pop on to a rack, and simple to remove. Locking and unlocking is also very easy.

I was worried it was too big but it’s not. I don’t like to have panniers on around town and this works great for even winter jackets, helmets, gym bags with shoes, and when you end up picking up stuff you weren’t expecting to. It even has a couple of loops where I use a net to hold my racquet on the top of the trunk and you can still open the trunk. It’s very light when empty and doesn’t get in the way. Got back rest and Givi mounting plate. Glad I got it for my 1200 gsw.

I was very happy with the product, since although the product is sold by many retailers on Amazon, none had a particularly good description of features or comparability. I own a 2008 Yamaha FZ6, and the previous owner had installed a Givi monokey rack. This case fits in either to top or side locations of the rack. There is an elastic strap inside to help secure the contents. So far it appears to be entirely weatherproof. After turning the key to the unlocked position, you can either push the lower button to remove the case, or the upper button to open it. The 52 liter case fits 2 helmets.

I really like this case. It's large enough to hold my full face helmet, gloves and jacket and a boatload of groceries. I thought it would look to big for my KLR but it looks fine. I happen to like the fact that you have to lock the case to remove the key. That way I never have to worry if I left it unlocked when I run into a store. Also make sure you get the adaptor plate. With the plate installed the case pops off with a push of a button.

This is a great case. I like everything about it with one minor complaint. I was a little worried that it might be too big (crazy I know) but it blends in nicely on the GS1200 and looks great. It can hold lots of gear or it can hold two full face helmets when you stop. I also purchased the padded backrest which my wife loves. I took one star off because one thing that really annoys me is the you must use the key to latch the case closed. In other words the key must be used every single time you need open or close it. This gets to be a hassle when you just want to grab an quickly or put something away quickly. Admittedly this is relatively minor but I wished they they would change it so you just lock it when you are leaving your bike. But the bottom line is highly recommended.
