Smaller than I thought

Ok, this is a bit smaller than I anticipated, but that was my fault for not paying closer attention to details. It works just fine, however, around the base there must be a bit of a small leak, as a small bit of the oil seeps out. I just occasionally have to wipe down underneath and around the base. Makes it a bit of a fire hazard, so I don't use it as would have normally, it ends up being more for decoration. I don't know if anyone else has had that issue, or if it was just a defect on mine. I didn't use it right away, so I wasn't able to reach out for a possible return, so I cannot review in terms of customer service.

Have used off and on since October purchase. The wick assembly is broken already! Turned the wick up and the internal piece popped out it's setting. Handle just flops around. Don't waste your money; I bought two unfortunately!

These lamps give off a good amount of like and are easy to assemble when you receive them. They look great .

Looks pretty stylish. If you clean cut the wick properly and have about 1/8" above the feed tube showing, it will burn bright for hours on end. Don't just fill and use, oil lamps take a little work and knowledge to work the right way. So the more you know, the better experience you will have. Mine has been burning well over 2 hours now and the paraffin oil has only used about 3/8" after filling it a little below the"V" shaped patterns on the top rim of the base. So if I tilted it up 1/4" on one side, it would just start to pour out of the rim. Seems to be burning clear and clean, not expecting any light dusting of soot. I have my wick set so the flame just barely makes it outside the top glass. I also added about 10 drips of Egyptian scented essential oil to a full bowl of paraffin oil and stirred it gently. These are restaurant grade if you ask me, I'd expect to see one of these on every table of an old school romantic themed restaurant. Maybe not Italian, but more of a cross vibe between Asian/Coast of the Nile feel. The top glass is very thin and fragile, so be careful. The base is very thick and solid. The wick adjusting gear and shaft is poorly designed and hardly moves the wick at all, if it even does move. Hence the missing star. Your better off moving the wick by fingertips when you have to. Once the wick is set and burning, you shouldn't have to make adjustments. To snuff my lamp out, I just use an old snuff cap from an outdoor Tiki torch I had lying around. I hope the power never goes out again, but I can rest assured I'll have plenty hours of warm light from this little fancy gem.

Although it's pretty, I didn't realize how small it was. I figured for $35 + import fees, it would have been much larger. It's about 4 inches tall once all put together. The seller does have its size posted but obviously, I missed that picture. All in all, it's pretty but with its size it's not worth the price.

Hardly lights up anything. Seems very cheaply made. I would never buy this again. Not worth it. Seems like a novelty decoration rather than a functioning lamp.

It's a nice little oil lamp but the base of mine had a slow leak, so I returned it. Otherwise the finish and design was very nice. I liked the fact that the globe wasn't huge like on a lot of other oil lamps. In case someone thinks it was just overfilled or something: it wasn't I dried the base multiple times and after a few hours a puddle of oil formed on the table. Nothing to do with this lamp itself but I found that kerosene really stinks inside the house. My wife hated it, so if this hadn't been leaky the next move would've been to find a paraffin based lamp oil. I read somewhere that's just mineral oil, but IDK if that's true.
