I collect sand and rock samples and display them in glass spice jars. My long time supplier (World Market) no longer sells them, so I’ve been searching for a similar style as I already have hundreds of them to try and match. These are the same size and shape, but unfortunately the glass quality is far worse. Tons of bubbles and streaks, which gives the jars a bumpy look and feel, they’re also greener in color (higher iron). Should be fine to dispense spices, if you want a nice display piece the visual quality is poor

These make very nice salt and pepper shakers. The holes in the plastic cap are just the right size to get enough, but not too much, on your food. I'd like them a little more if they were bigger, but overall they work very well.

These are the perfect size. I have some spices that come in baggies. Not user friendly. I love the screw top lids with the shakers underneath. I make my own labels. Highly recommended.

Decent bottles, cheap lids, but I really like that they came with little filter caps, which I couldn’t find many examples of at this price point. My biggest issue is that one of the bottles came with a large crack through the whole thing. I didn’t really expect these to be a long-term solution, but didn’t expect them to come pre-broken :(

These are great small jars for spices. Packaged well, so all arrived intact. They are easy to open and put spices in and clean.

After returning from a vacation to Turkey with many bags of spices and seasonings, I was thrilled to try them out. Something I hadn't thought of though... How was I going to dispense them? I went to several local stores in search of empty shakers (Wal-Mart, Target, TJ Maxx, K-Mart), and could not find any. I found plenty of pre-filled jars as part of racks, and I found small jars with lids, but I wanted shaker-top jars.I finally decided to turn to Trusty Amazon, and I found this set of jars. They are exactly as pictured, and come with snap-on tops which have medium-small holes in them, perfect for most small (but not fine) mixes - Like Mrs. Dash consistency, for example. If you're going to use these for something smaller like Curry, just use a gentle hand when shaking. Being that the shaker tops are snap-on, I'm sure I could find ones with smaller holes, but it's not that big of a deal.These fit the bill perfectly, and I'm now cooking with delicious spices and seasonings from Turkey! I'm still surprised I couldn't find this locally though, because it really seems like a product that should have been in at least one of the stores I mentioned earlier.
